REASON WHY PETER OF P-SQUARE HAVE NOT YET MARRIED HIS BABY MAMA

It’s no longer news that one of the singing sensational duo, P Square, Peter is expecting another baby from mother of his first son, Cameron, Lola Omotayo. A lot of public opinions, speculations and insinuations have it that, why on earth would someone not be married to a woman and still expect to have another baby.

Well, newsmen can authoritatively revealed that, there is more to this than meet the eyes. While one group of tale mongers said that the debonair ex-public relations executive has been un accepted by the Okoye siblings, another has it that the domineering attitude of this fair skin beauty is the cause of the delay in their solemnization.

“You will find Lola Omotayo 24 hours/ 7 days a week at P Square’s Omole Estate villa anytime you visit them. They live like husband and wife,” disclosed a dependable source in the neighborhood.

However, we can reveal to you that neither of the two tales is to be believed.Impeccable sources confided that the brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye have a secret pact to get married at the same time, day and venue.

According to ou rsource, the two brothers have resolved not to allow marriage come in-between them, thus their decision to get married at the same time. “It is a sacrifice and a compromise both of them reached pain stakingly in the interest of their career and what they have both shared since childhood,” disclosed by a very close source.

How long Peter Okoye will wait for his brother, Paul is a question of time but there are strong indications that he won’t have to wait for too long. Paul who is the quiet of the two is said to be in love with a lady whose identity is yet to be revealed.

It will not be forgotten in a hurry that the identical brothers have done everything from cradle to their adult age together and have been inseparable.Aside attending the same Primary and Secondary schools, the two brothers possess Diploma Certificates from the University of Jos (UNIJOS) and Degrees from University of Abuja (Uni-Abuja).

Psquare signs distribution deal with Universal Music South Africa

From the looks of it, Nigerian Pop duo Psquare have signed a major deal with the South Africa imprint of one of the biggest record labels in the world – Universal Music Group.
‘Psquare has been signed to UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP… Baba God has done it again..@JUDEENGEES @rudeboypsquare @MisterMayD‘, Peter Okoye, one half of the popular twin pop duo Psquare disclosed on micro-blogging website Twitter some minutes ago.
According to reports, the signing took place today in the city of Johannesburg, South Africa.

The brothers have been heavily linked with Akon who announced in December 2011 that he had signed the twins onto his Konvict Music label as African representatives. Universal Music Group is the parent company of Akon’s Konvict Musik and Kon Live Distribution labels.

Universal Music Group founded in 1934 is an American multinational music company and one of the ‘big four’ record companies in the world. But, as is the norm in music business, Universal Music SA is a ‘South African’ company distributing in that country and environs. We can not confirm as at the time of writing, the specific particulars of the Psquare contract, and whether the brothers are also in talks with Universal in Europe and the US.
The deal with Psqure, we’re told, is a South Africa distribution deal covering past and current Psquare catalogues.

The wealth of the dynamic duo, Peter and Paul Okoye popularly known as “P-Square”, is not in question.

Months back, they completed a house valued at N300m in Lagos, a hotel, as well as two multi-million naira factories in Jos.

The latest gist about this identical twins is that they've stepped up their game .

According to close source, ever since P-Square joined Konvict Music record label, owned by US-based Senegal-born singer Akon, their Fee Per Show has gone up.

We gathered that Psquare now earn about one hundred thousand dollars each time they are engaged by promoters especially abroad.

The promoters also provide their tickets and other logistics.

We can exclusively inform you that P-Square is the highest paid musician in Nigeria for now.

VIDEO: ‘CHOP MY MONEY’ – PSQUARE FEAT AKON, MAY D

We’ve heard the original version off their Invasion album and we love it, well the remix is just as good! Psquare at times look like they can’t do any wrong with their songs (even though we constantly accuse them of sound biting!).

Their recent romance with Konvict Music boss Akon seems to be paying off. When photos from the video shoot of this same song hit the web, it only created more anticipation for the ‘Chop my money’ remix.

The remix which also features Square Record newbie May D has that tingly feel and blended with Akon’s ever melodic crooning, we can say this is another hit!

The video directed by Jude Okoye and Ben Marc is quite interesting – telling a tale of a temptress who dazzles all four guys as she ‘chops’ their money and dumps them.

Kanu Nwankwo, P-Square, Zack Orji, accused of sleeping with Ugandan girls + woman pays Flavor US$ 10,000 for a one night stand

In what could pass as a shocking revelation, a Ugandan news media ugandanonline.com published a story in which they exposed women they said are prostituting themselves to foreign stars.

The story, which was titled “Gals Who Stick to International Celebs like Glue” mentioned top Nigerian celebrities (some of them happily married or in relationships) alongside foreign stars as beneficiaries of the shamed women’s favour.

On top Nigerian footballer and happily married Kanu Nwankwo, the news media said: “City socialite and glamour gal Judith Heard might have traveled to various cities around the world but that hasn’t stopped her from behaving like a commoner. She was literally in Nigerian football ace Nwankwo Kanu‘s pants when he was in Uganda to open a branch of his Kanu Heart Foundation.

Top Nigerian music duo P-Square were said to have shared one lady called Tracy Bora when they breezed into the country for some functions. With all the beautiful women in Uganda why share one…hmm? However, the most shocking revelation was that of former AGN president and a highly respected father Zack Orji.

The news media reported that Orji had a swell time with one Sheila Nvanungi, a onetime radio presenter cum actress. The report went on to say that Nvanungi was practically pasted forever in Orji‘s sight every minute and made sure no other gal got close.

But it was later discovered that Nvanungi was also keeping the lead actor in the movie Forest Whitaker busy too, ouch! So while she was making sure that no other woman sneaked into Zack Orji’s bed, she was busy servicing both men –and both men were on the same movie set, wow! Then came the flavor’s tale, Nollywoodgossip broke the news of Flavor’s arrival in Uganda, but little do we know about what transpired behind closed doors.

The report said that two women Bad lack and her new found friend Sylvia Owori were the center of attraction at Club Rouge last Thursday during the Swagger Night in company of Mr. Flavor. They were all over him like paint on the wall. Bad Black is said to have paid Mr. Flavor US$ 10,000 for a one night stand. All this time Sylvia’s tomboy Malik was nowhere to be seen as Flavor had taken the front seat

Nollywood’s Mr Ibu, P-Square, Dbanj, Bracket are red-hot in Maputo

It’s amazing the way they roll out the names of our actors and actresses, our musicians. Hotel rooms are decorated with posters of Nigerian artists and their radio stations boom with songs that bring you closer home. Since arrival here, I have been inundated with questions about Mr Ibu. A beautiful girl is dying here for Mr Ibu. Yes, the same Mr Ibu that my wife loathes to see on screen.

I am not hooked on Nollywood but cant do without Osuofia, Ibu and their likes. They bring joy to me and I watch them over and over. But to see many in Maputo reeling out the names of Nigerian actors and actresses simply goes to show that Nigeria has something good. But can we make something out from it like Dubai is doing on their tourism with Emirates, Ethiopia and even Kenya.

We are blessed and should live like that and not die in poverty in the midst of plenty. Move into Nigerian music and they mime their tunes mentioning names like P-Square, Dbanj, Bracket, Wande Coal, Nice, J Martins, Timaya, Duncan Mighty. I am teaching the girls how to dance bumper to bumper. I doff my heart for Naija!

P-Square dragged To Court

A Benin High Court, Edo State has adjourned hearing in a suit filed by Benin-based music promoter, Mr. Patrick Anieze against popular hip-hop artistes, PSquare, to 26 October, for failing to honour a show. The music promoter accused the musicians of failing to honour a show organised by his outfit, PARUJON, in December 2009 and also refused to refund the money he paid them.

In the suit, the promoter claimed that the musicians were contracted to perform at Naomi Garden, GRA, Benin on 26 December, 2008. “Instead of honouring the show, PSquare left for Dualla in Cameroon and returned to Benin very late (around 10p.m.) on the agreed date. As at that time, the people had filled the venue of the show with their tickets. “However, PSquare refused to perform that day because they were already tired from the trip and promised to reschedule the show for 14 February, 2009. “PSquare failed to honour the rescheduled show. Thereafter, I contacted Femi Falana chambers over the failed contract. Mr. Falana personally talked with Mr. Jude Okoye, who is the elder brother and manager of PSquare and they promised to refund the money spent on the show.

He said a total of N3.633 million which he borrowed from the bank was spent on the aborted show. After several efforts to get the money refunded, I instructed another lawyer, Mr. J.E. Enyia to sue PSquare in court which was done on 22 March , 2011,” he added. The case was filed at the Benin High Court with suit number 3/217/2011. When the case came up for hearing on 27 June, Mr. Okoye persuaded the promoter’s lawyer to allow for out of court settlement but has since refused to honour his pledge. The case has been adjourned to 26 October for further hearing.
