Pregnant Nollywood Actress, Uche Jumbo, To Stay In The US Till Next Year After Setting A New Milestone In The Industry

 Pregnant actress/producer Uche Jumbo who recently traveled to the US, has revealed that she will be staying there until next year after she gives birth to her first child.

 Before her departure from the country, Uche produced her 16th movie, 8 of them are yet to be released. Some of them are scheduled to be released in June 2015. And that is a big one from a lady who started in Nollywood as a ‘waka pass.’

Sources say she is the only actress who has attained such feat and produced that number of movies in Nollywood. Uche Jombo has had over one hundred movies to her credit. As a screenwriter, she has written and co-written several movies, some of which include: Visa to Hell, The Celebrity, Games Men Play, Girls in the Hood & A Time to Love.  

Uche Jombo went on to produce her own movies which includes Nollywood Hustlers, A Mother’s Fight, Lies Men Tell, After The Proposal, Under Your Skin, Unconditional, Almost Perfect, Oge's Sister, False, A Long Night, to mention but few. Congrats to her and also wishing her a safe delivery. Source

Nollywood Actress Returns To New York For Christmas With Husband

 

 Nollywood movie producer/actress Uche Jombo has returned back to the United States of America where she’ll be spending the holiday with her husband, Kenny Rodriguez.

The actress was spotted on Friday at the departure wing of Murtala Mohammed Int’l Airport while trying to board an Arik flight to New York.

Dressed in a red top and a blue jean, Uche Jombo arrived at the popular international airport with her brother and Nollywood colleagues.

Internationally celebrated Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo recently won the Actress of the Year Award at the annual Exquisite Magazine Lady of the Year awards that held at The Incubator on the 23rd of October 2011 beating other industry stalwarts like Omoni Oboli (Anchor Baby), Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (PrivateStorm), Genevieve Nnaji (Tango with Me), Ini Edo (Inale), Stella Damasus (Bent Arrows), and Monalisa Chinda (Kiss & Tell) in clinching the prize.

The multi-talented actress, whose face graced Exquisite magazine’s October edition, is currently touring the United States of America with the family values-driven ‘Damage’, a movie she produced and the first in a series of similarly themed trio of movies. She was only available by proxy to collect her award.
