Tiwa Savage And TeeBillz Set Wedding dates, White wedding to hold in Maldives
Talented and award winning songstress Tiwa Savage and her fiance and business partner Tunji 'TeeBillz' Balogun have picked their wedding dates. Their traditional wedding will hold November 23rd in Lagos while their white wedding will hold in February 2014 in the beautiful Maldive Islands, an island nation in the Indian Ocean.
Tiwa was in Maldives last month with her good friend Elohor Aisien to pick venues and etc. I hear this will be the wedding to upstage all weddings.

I have just one and it is very precious to me. I got it in Spain when I went there to shoot the video for my new song, Okoso. I can trade it for money anytime. It is like saving my money. I got it but it was quite expensive. I will not say the price so that I won’t be attacked. I have been robbed several times. I’ll not want to expose myself any more.
What is that fashion item you cannot leave home without?
I can’t leave home without my earring (studs) for both ears. I don’t know why, but that is something I cannot leave home without. I don’t joke with it. I wouldn’t want to mention how much it costs. I don’t like mentioning figures but they are pretty expensive. Why I love them so much I don’t know. Even if you come to my house in the morning, I would put my studs on first before I come downstairs to see you. I have over thirty of them.
What influences your style?
The truth is, I am a very stylish person and I have always had it in my blood. It is something I love. It reflects in my life, video, apartment and even my car. Everything about me is fashion, so anytime I do anything, I don’t get prepared; I do it because it is a part of me.
What is the craziest thing a lady has done to you?
A few days back in Abuja, I saw a girl and she opened her hand, I saw my name tattooed on it. I don’t know her, I saw her during a show some days back. She was like this is KCee. She said that she did it and had been looking for a way to show it to me. I was surprised. I went mad, I was excited, I felt loved. I took pictures with her. Outside the country, I have been taken care of by female fans. Some of them are surprised it is me. They tell me they have a car, home, they want to take care of me. It feels good when people show you love because of what you do.

It’s a good thing to be happy and be wealthy but another thing totally to see those who you love to share in your happiness. For the handsome and well-built singer and dancer, Iyanya, life would have been so beautiful if his parents and brother were to be alive to share in his joy today.
Iyanya who has become an enigma in Nigeria’s entertainment scene today said he lost his parents mysteriously. Though, he reluctantly revealed to this office that it was a spiritual attack that claimed the lives of the people he loved most in his life.
I am thankful, because I know they are somewhere better and they left a whole lots of things for me. My late mum made me realize that there is nothing really in this world than just being a good person. I have been trying to live with that, even though I can’t please everybody.
My Dad also taught me to be responsible for every action I take as an adult. I am just living with what they left for me. I mean, their prayers and words still linger.
``My parents are late now. May their souls rest in peace, I grew up with them and I got 100 percent love from them. They died in 2008, before my Project Fame exploit. It’s a long story to go into how they died; I don’t want to talk about it. My mum died at the age of 42 and my dad died at 50.
I know their death came too early and it happened in ways I don’t like to talk about. It’s not a thing that makes me happy. But it’s a lesson for me now. I am trying to live a good life.
My parents are not the only people I have lost; I have also lost my elder brother, who died recently as well. He had an accident as a kid and since then we had been battling with it, but he died recently. He died the same period my parents did. It’s so painful but I have to move on,’’ he said.

Kid Cudi Leaves Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music Label
Kid Cudi made the shocking revelation that he’s no longer apart of Kanye West’s highly respected label, G.O.O.D Music.
With his long-awaited album dropping in just a few weeks, Kid Cudi revealed that he wanted to go in a “new” direction with his music.
In a interview with Power 106, Cudi revealed:
“I’m no longer on G.O.O.D. Music. Kanye and I were talking on the phone the other day and these are things I’ve been wanting to talk to him about me starting my own direction and he got it because you know, he’s trying to start his new path and try new things as an artist and he was just like, ‘Man, I feel you as an artist. It’s cool, whatever.’ This is just from a business standpoint. There’s no beef. There’s no problems with anybody on the label. It’s all love.”
When asked if he was “tired” of Kanye, Cudi quickly responded:
“I could never get tired of Kanye.”
Despite Cudi parting ways with his G.O.O.D Music family, the “Just What I Am” rapper ensured his fans that he will continue to collaborate with Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T, and other artists on the label in the future, but he just won’t have the “little baby with the dress on” on his album.
The most interesting part of Cudi’s interview was the revelation that he actually consulted Jay-Z before making the executive decision to split from the label.
After receiving Jay-Z’s blessing, Cudi called Yeezy up and broke him the news.
Kid Cudi’s forthcoming album, Indicud, is set to hit store shelves April 23.

British actor and model, Dudley O’Shaughnessy (popular for his role in Rihanna’s We Found Love video) and Nigerian-British actor, Chris Obi, the voice from Snow White and the Huntsman, are set to storm Nigeria for the Bayelsa Book & Craft Fair and the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) holding on the 18-19th and 20th of April, 2013 respectively, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Director of the Fair, said, “Both the 23-year old and Obi will tour a number of schools in the state and give books and writing materials to several children during their stay in the state and have a heart-to-heart chat with them too.”
The Bayelsa Book & Craft Fair, an initiative of the Africa Film Academy, curators of the AMAAs, is being organized by Blues & Hills Consultancy with support from Bayelsa Tourism Development Board and Century Energy Services Limited (CESL) and will bring several personalities including Indian writer and supermodel, Shobhaa De and her business tycoon husband, Dilip De, former FCT minister, Nasir El-Rufai, entertainment personalities, Denrele Edun, Uti Nwachukwu, Bryan Okwara, O.C. Ukeje, Jeremiah Gyang, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Asa Asika, Akin Alabi, Beverly Naya; writers Gabriel Okara, Professors Chukwuemeka Ike, Olu Obafemi, Akachi Adimora-Ezeigbo; Wale Okediran, Eghosa Imasuen, Nze Sylva Ifedigbo, Toni Kan and Teresa Oyibo-Ameh, among others.

Afrobeat star Seun Kuti will perform at the fair, together with Haitian artiste, Jay-B Special, Syndik8 Records’s Black Magic, Aduke and Glo Naija Sings 2010 winner, Casey Ed to raise books to distribute to schools in Bayelsa.
It will be a feast of literature and music and will be a departure from the regular monotonous nature of literary events. Craft-makers and booksellers will be able to exhibit their works too.
2Face To Make First Public Performance After Marriage On April 7
African Queen crooner, 2Face Idibia, who recently got married in Dubai on March 23, 2013, will possibly have his first public performance on April 7, 2013, in Lagos.
On that day, 2Face is expected to thrill audience that would be at the album launch concert of Omawumi Megbele. The event will hold at the prestigious Oriental Hotel located in Lekki.
Other stars to perform at the event are Tiwa Savage, Waje, Seyi Shay, and many others.
Omawumi emerged the first runner-up at the Idols West Africa held in 2007 which produced Timi Dakolo as winner.

Popular Gospel Singer, Lanre Terriba Shot
Gospel singer, Lanre ‘Atorise’ Teriba was said to have had a bad deal the lasty time he was in South Africa to perform. According to reports, he was said to have left the shores of Nigeria to discharge his duty as an artist in South Africa with Dele Taiwo weeks back, both Lanre and Taiwo performed at a valentine show tagged ‘Praise Night Concert in South Africa’.
The event which took place on the 15th of February at West End Theater, G2 Entrance, Pretoria Show Ground, was a huge success but it didn’t end well as Teriba was attacked immediately after the show by some unknown assailants.
While valuable items like Blackberry Porch, Ipad, gold wrist watch and money were taken away from him. He was also shot in the leg. Fortunately for him, he was rushed to a nearby hospital in Pretoria.
I hear he's responding well to treatment and has recover from the wound sustained.

Adele cancels U.S. tour due to vocal illness
NEW YORK — British singer-songwriter Adele is canceling the remainder of her sold out U.S. tour due to a hemorrhage in her vocal cord, her record label said on Tuesday.
The Grammy-winning singer pulled out of 10 dates, starting with Atlantic City in New Jersey on Oct. 7 and finishing with three gigs in Texas two weeks later, on the back of her bestselling album "21" that has produced hits such as "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You."
"I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever," the 23-year-old singer said in a statement on her website. "I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this."
Adele was already forced to postpone several U.S. dates earlier this year due to vocal cord issues and was finishing up a tour in Britain when her illness reappeared and she decided to cancel the remaining U.S. dates, said a statement by Columbia Records.
"My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I'm gonna be starting up vocal rehab as soon as, and start building my overall stamina in my voice, body and mind," the singer said. "I will be back and I'm gonna smash the ball out the park once I'm touring again. I apologize from the bottom of my heart, sincerely I do."
