KCee conferred As Peace Ambassador by First Lady,Patience Jonathan

Nigeria artist Kcee known as the Limpopo master has achieved another milestone in his career. An association comprising of African first ladies known as the African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM) has honored him as a peace ambassador.

Big Boi!!! – See How Much Limpopo Writer; Harrysong, Charges To Write A Song

 Here's what Harrysong, aka Mr Songz, who is currently living large under his new management, KCee's 5Star Music, said in an interview with Punch:

“Before now we (songwriters) charged between N100, 000 and N2000, 000 for a song. Today I charge as much as 1million to write a song.

 Truth is, Nigerian artistes have begun to appreciate songwriters. They pay me my money and appreciate me. I have written a lot of songs but I don’t talk about them because Nigerian artistes don’t like it when the songwriters take credit for compising songs for them.”

And that's not all! About his Tribute song to the late South African leader Nelson Mandela,  released on December 11, 2013, which received a stunning one million downloads in a single day, an excited Harrysong says: 

“The proceeds from the caller-back tune is actually worth more than N50m. Truth is, I was paid a lot of money;  you know -  when they say money that can change someone’s life. That’s the value of what I received .

“I can’t reveal the exact amount because we work as a team. So, all the money realised is shared among us. You just want to forget all the years of suffering. It’s not a mere hype because the money is there. The song is everywhere. You go to South-Africa , the girls are crazy about it.”

KCEE Opens Up To On His Nicki Minaj Collabo- Report

 Circling through grapevine is news that KCEE reportedly paid a hefty sum of N68m  to have American hip-hop Queen, Nicki Minaj for a collaboration that will also feature his label mate Harrysong.

But KCEE’s manager, Soso Sobrekon, speaking to a  reporter from the United States has cleared the air on the matter.

‘We are in the USA trying to get some collaboration done. It is true we are in the process of doing a song with Nicki Minaj, and that news was leaked by an agent to the media.We actually wanted it to be a surprise for the fans, but since it’s out there now; we plan on taking it bigger’.

Soso however refused to comment on what they allegedly paid for Minaj’s services. ‘We want to seal another artist from YMCMB that is bigger than Nicki Minaj.

She’s already sealed to be on the track, but now that everyone knows, we’re still going to surprise the fans by getting another person from YMCB.’

The manager also refused to disclose the title of the track, and says they will finish recording the song before returning to Nigeria.

 According to unconfirmed reports, Nigeria’s rave of the moment Afro pop singer, Kcee, is teaming up with American Rap Queen Nicki Minaj.

  Kcee, is set to release another hot new single featuring Nicki Minaj, while his main purpose of attending the recently past Grammy Awards was to finalize the collaboration with her.

It was said that Kcee, paid a whooping prize of 400,000 dollars (68 million naira) to have Nicki on the song.

How many Jesus piece chains do you have? I have just one and it is very precious to me. I got it in Spain when I went there to shoot the video for my new song, Okoso. I can trade it for money anytime. It is like saving my money. I got it but it was quite expensive. I will not say the price so that I won’t be attacked. I have been robbed several times. I’ll not want to expose myself any more.

 What is that fashion item you cannot leave home without? I can’t leave home without my earring (studs) for both ears. I don’t know why, but that is something I cannot leave home without. I don’t joke with it. I wouldn’t want to mention how much it costs. I don’t like mentioning figures but they are pretty expensive. Why I love them so much I don’t know. Even if you come to my house in the morning, I would put my studs on first before I come downstairs to see you. I have over thirty of them. 

 What influences your style? The truth is, I am a very stylish person and I have always had it in my blood. It is something I love. It reflects in my life, video, apartment and even my car. Everything about me is fashion, so anytime I do anything, I don’t get prepared; I do it because it is a part of me.

 What is the craziest thing a lady has done to you? A few days back in Abuja, I saw a girl and she opened her hand, I saw my name tattooed on it. I don’t know her, I saw her during a show some days back. She was like this is KCee. She said that she did it and had been looking for a way to show it to me. I was surprised. I went mad, I was excited, I felt loved. I took pictures with her. Outside the country, I have been taken care of by female fans. Some of them are surprised it is me.
