Fans Not Happy That Yvonne Nelson Is Avoiding iyanya
Pretty and slender Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has shunned viral reports that her absence at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) was because she was avoiding her ‘Kukere’ Nigerian ex-lover and boyfriend, Iyanya, who was present and performed at the event.
Reports had it that the tall screen diva was to present an award on that night, but she didn’t make appearance. Her absence, raised eyebrows and questions, until she came out to say that it was an accident that deprived her of showing up at the award night.
According to the actress, she stated that she nearly had a major accident close to the 37 Military Hospital in Ghana that night, which she was able to escape unhurt.
Even with her explanation, the reason for her accident still caused lots more speculations from their fans, as some say they are not certain if she was truly on her way to the event or was just cruising around town.
The event would have been the first time to see Yvonne and Iyanya together at same place, after she disclosed to the whole world sometime ago that the Nigerian singer only used and dumped her just to use her name to get famous.

Yvonne Okoro Diss And Decline Iyanya On Stage
According to reports from GhanaWeb, Yvonne Okoro refused to come on stage on the singer's request causing some embarrassment for the Nigerian singer. To get to the root of the issue we did some flashback. Recall that some months ago; Iyanya and Yvonne Nelson were in the news over a rumoured affair between them. At that time, Yvonne Nelson went on Twitter to rant over the way her ‘fragile’ heart was smashed on the hard floor by her Nigerian lover.
One person that was also not happy with the whole issue was Yvonne Okoro, a Ghanaian actress. And for Iyanya to think Yvonne Okoro will easily forgive him for jilting a sister may be very detrimental.
Over the weekend, Ghana was agog when the Ghana Music Awards was held. According to a source who attended the glamorous occasion, Iyanya was partly disgraced by Yvonne Okoro when he stepped beyond his bounds.
We gathered that after the first set of awards were given out, Iyanya mounted the stage to thrill his fans and after dancing and singing, he reportedly took a bold step to invite Yvonne Okoro to dance with him, a probably ‘request for her waist’.
To his shock, the pretty actress declined and the artiste was reportedly forced to meet his ‘target’ where she was sitting. She was said to have been called severally to dance with Iyanya, but still declined until she finally reluctantly agreed.
Well, Yvonne, kindly forgive your Nigerian brother, remember, he has already compensated Yvonne Nelson with a track. That’s fair enough.

Popular musician and MTN brand ambassador, Iyanya Mbuk, made a few revelations to his fan during an interactive session on valentines day.
He answered questions sent to him via tweeter and touched a few topics on love, valentines day, his relationship status and thoughts on marriage.
While interacting with fans on a celebrity twitter guest series via the MTN Twitter handle, the “Kukere” master explained that the greatest gift that can be given to anyone at Valentine is “true love”.
He made the statement as an answer to what he considered the best Valentine gift.
When asked about his love life and whether he was in a serious relationship, the 'your waist' crooner answered that he was not married yet and wasn't considering doing so any time soon, pointing out that God's time is always the best in issues like that.
Speaking on women and attraction, the singer confessed that he admired women and always checked out their waist as the first attraction.
He also revealed that his attraction to the waist was his motivation for his hit song, “Your Waist”.
I guess no one is surprised about that one.

When Nigerian music star Iyanya Mbuk, sang his hit song (your waist), with reference to Yvonne Nelson, many were not too sure if the ‘Kukere’ master was dating the Ghanaian actress or not.
Before their affair ended, both reportedly denied any romantic relationship between them.
Even when a picture taken by the two stars at a elegushi beach in lagos flooded the internet, which further fuelled their rumoured sizzling romance, Iyanya still denied it.

It was surprising to many when the actress Yvonne Nelson posted a series of emotional tweets on her twitter page indicating heartbreak by Iyanya.
Soon, the blogosphere was bubbling again with the story, but Iyanya still denied dating the Ghanaian movie actress, insisting that his name wasn’t mentioned in the purported tweets by the embittered lover girl Yvonne Nelson.
But pouring out her mind in an interview, Yvonne Nelson confirmed that she dated the Nigerian music star for seven to eight months before they broke up.
When asked what she still feels about Iyanya, she said, “Iyanya is such an amazing person, but I just feel he needs to be more honest and be a man of his words.”
The ghollywood actress said, “It’s not good if he takes advantage of women,” adding that, “My mum always says any man who takes advantage of women won’t end up well. It’s Karma, it’s going to come back to you.”
She advised the wave-making music star to “treat women fairly and he should be an honest person.” She added that, “it’s been a while though, I haven’t seen him. He is doing amazing things in his career and I wish him luck.”
