More tragedy for Sylvester Stallone as his half-sister dies of lung cancer... weeks after his son

Sylvester Stallone has been hit by a second tragedy in a matter of weeks, with the death of his half-sister. Still reeling from the premature d*ath of son Sage a month ago, Sly is now also grieving for Toni-Ann Filiti, who succumbed to lung and liver cancer.

 The 48-year-old died on Sunday night at their mother Jackie Stallone's house, after opting to leave hospital and spend her final days at home. A family source told Radar: 'She passed away last night and it was somewhat expected. After being in the ICU she decided she wanted to die in the house so she could spend time with her family.'

Jackie, 90, had earlier told the New York Post that she was hoping for a miracle. 'She is conscious and responsive sometimes, but not really,' she said. 'What we need is a miracle. I still believe there are miracles; it is the only thing that keeps you going.

 'I always think some miracle will happen, and she will wake up and this is all a bad dream. I want her with us until the last hour. She looks beautiful lying there. But her condition is critical.' 

And she said that the loss was hard to cope with, coming so soon after the loss of Sage, 36. 'I am doing terrible after having my grandson go, then my daughter [critical] at 48 years old. It isn’t easy. I don’t know what to do.'

Sage Stallone, Sylvester’s Son, Dies

Sylvester Stallone’s rep, Michelle Bega, tells TMZ, “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha.

Welcome to Hollywood, folks. Sage Stallone — Sylvester Stallone’s son — has died and sources tell us the cause was an overdose of pills. The details surrounding the death are still unclear .. but we’re told he was found in his L.A. 

home by either a maid or his girlfriend. Paramedics were called to the home and pronounced him dead at the scene. Sources tell us authorities are trying to determine if the death was intentional or accidental. 

 We’re told Sylvester is a “wreck.” Sage famously made his film debut alongside his father in the 1990 movie “Rocky 5″ — playing the role of Rocky’s son Robert Balboa.

Sylvester Stallone proves he's still got the body to play an action hero in Bullet To The Head

He might have turned 65 this year but Sylvester Stallone has proved he's still got the body to be playing action heroes. 

The Rambo star was seen showing off his bulk frame on the set of his latest movie Bullet To The Head. 

But not only is he confident with a tight top on, Stallone is also proud to show off his body with no T-shirt on at all. 

In a still from the action thriller, the father-of-five is seen brandishing a gun with a menacing look on his face and fake tattoos.

The U.S. star actually looks younger in the image, but perhaps that is all down to his ripped stomach and obvious muscles. 

 In between takes on the New Orleans set, Stallone was seen strolling around in a pair of tight grey trousers and a matching polo top that highlighted his chunky arms.
