Jennifer Lopez's 3rd Husband Finally Files For Divorce

Due to "irreconcilable differences", Marc Anthony has finally filed for divorce after close to nine months of separation from wife Jennifer Lopez. 

 Insisting that the centre can no longer hold in their relationship, Anthony made sure court papers were filed on April 9 in LA County Superior Court. I hear the guy is even requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children, Max and Emme. 

 Funny enough, the estranged couple will still join forces for a live duet during the debut of “Q’VIVA! The Chosen’s” on May 26.

 You may which to know that Lopez and Anthony announced their separation in July 2011. This will be Lopez’s third divorce, and Anthony’s second.

Given that they have both moved on with new partners, working together could give rise to a fair share of animosity between Jennifer Lopez and her estranged husband Marc Anthony.

So fans might not be so surprised to learn that the former pair got into a bit of a physical fight on the set of their new show ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen when J-Lo, 42, decided to slap the father of her children.

However it was just a friendly tickle, with a sound effect added for good measure, which the former couple explained as they appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show, set to air February 13, to promote their new talent show.

Ellen told the pair: ‘The dynamics between you two is just fantastic to watch.’

Jennifer, who is now dating 24-year-old dancer Casper Smart replied: ‘We laugh a lot.’

A clip from their upcoming show is displayed and the pair are seen sitting on the floor watching a troop of flamenco dancers.

Jennifer Lopez admits it can be difficult working with estranged husband Marc Anthony

Most separated spouses was baulk at the idea of having to continue working together.But for Jennifer Lopez and her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony, they had already signed a contract to film a new talent show together before splitting last July.

And while J.Lo insisted she was having 'fun' working with her ex on Q'Viva! The Chosen, she also admitted there could be difficult moments.

Appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman last night, the mother-of-two revealed she sometimes had 'communication' issues with Anthony - a similar problem which arose during their seven year marriage.

Asked by Letterman what it was like working with Anthony, Lopez replied: 'Ya no, its fun because we know each other so well, but it has its moments.'The same things that we kinda (mimes a wrestling movement with her hands)… didn’t really work... sometimes come up.'

Letterman then pressed her for further details: 'I want to know if they're the same things for you that they would be for anybody?'She elaborated: 'Communication... you know just like you're talking and you don't agree on something and then you're like, "Oh be quiet!" and things like that... you’ll see it on the show a little bit.'

When Letterman tried to clarify which ex would tell each other to 'be quiet', she quickly said no when asked if Anthony had told her to be silent.The series premiere of Lopez and Anthony's talent show Q'Viva scored 2.2million viewers on Saturday night on Univison - a U.S. Spanish language channel.

Since announcing their separation in July after seven years and two children Max and Emme, both Anthony and Lopez haven't wasted any time in moving on.The American Idol judge has been dating toyboy dancer Caspar Smart since November, while Anthony is in a relationship with Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima.

Jennifer Lopez jokes about her amicable relationship with estranged husband Marc Anthony

They went through a painful end to their marriage last July after seven years together.

But Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting on so famously since their split, that the American Idol judge has likened their relationship to Sonny and Cher after their marriage ended.

The famous 1960s entertainers continued to work together following their split in 1975 after 11 years of marriage, both appearing together on The Sonny & Cher Show, despite being divorced.

In the first episode of their new talent show Q'Viva! The Chosen, Lopez says she and Anthony resemble the famous 1960s variety act, who maintained an amicable relationship.

The former couple are 'very Sonny and Cher after the divorce,' J-Lo jokes on camera, after being asked by a producer about the split.

'Really?' Anthony replies.

The show features the couple relaxed and 'playfully sparring' while judging talent in Puerto Rico, according to People.com.

At one point in the show, Anthony, 43, reflects on their relationship, saying they are 'meant to be' in each others' lives.

He says: 'Marriage is one chapter, kids are another.'

At one point, Lopez chides Anthony after he becomes quite taken with two stunning and buxom twin sisters, telling him: 'Let's keep the integrity of the show together.'

Anthony responds: 'I just see a lot of potential,', prompting Lopez to playfully question him, 'For what?'

Lopez and Anthony are said to have filmed the series together and separately across Latin America in what has been labelled a 'docu-journey.'

The 12-episode series follows the pair, along with director Jamie King travelling through Latin America to search for singers, dancers and other talents to compete to be part of a live Las Vegas show to celebrate Latin American arts and culture.

The show will air in 20 countries across Latin America and will premiere in the U.S. on Spanish-language network Univision.

An English language subtitled version is expected to be aired on U.S. network Fox, home of American Idol and X Factor, later this year.

Last week, more than a few eyebrows were raised when exes Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony arrived at a press conference for the new show holding hands.

Lopez, 42, even told reporters a the television conference that she and Anthony 'have a great time working together.'

They laughed and joked with one another and wrapped their arms round each other as they promoted the project.

Following Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony divorce, it shows there are no signs of things getting better, after they recently had a blazing row when their children addressed JLO’s Boyfriend “Casper Smart” as “Daddy.”

A source told National Enquirer “Marc couldn’t believe his ears when he heard Emme and Max utter the words ‘Daddy Casper’ during a recent visit,”

Marc Anthony 'bans J-Lo's toyboy lover from driving their twins'

He refused to shoot scenes with his estranged wife after the pair had an argument over her new toyboy lover.

And now it has been revealed that Marc Anthony has banned Jennifer Lopez's 24-year-old lover from driving their children twins Max and Emme around, because he has a history of motoring offences.

A source close to the singer said the Marc: ‘went ballistic when he found out about Casper's criminal record. He explicitly told Jen that Casper wasn't allowed to drive their children anywhere. Marc hates the fact that Casper is spending time with Max and Emme.

The source added: ‘ Marc is extremely jealous, and doesn't think Jen is using good judgement when it comes to Casper.’

Jennifer’s beau, Casper Smart has had numerous run-ins with the law over the past seven years for motoring misdemeanours.

While the majority have been for speeding or driving without a valid licence, and failing to show up in court, the young dancer was caught drag racing in 2010 driving a motorbike at over 100mph, which could potentially land him behind bars.

The dancer - who was rumoured to have met the 42-year-old mother of two in May - pled no contest to the charge in March after an initial not guilty plea.

His bail was set at $26,000 - and he is yet to be sentenced, according to the court records.

Smart is due in court to be sentenced by a judge in Los Angels January 5, 2012 and could face jail time as well as a stiff fine.

According to California law upon conviction he could be 'punished by imprisonment in a county jail for not more than 90 days, by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or by both that fine and imprisonment.'

Marc is said to be so furious at the new relationship between Jennifer and Casper that he is said to have refused to film sequences with his estranged wife for their new reality show.

Marc was hosting an over-the-top party to celebrate his new Latin singing competition show, ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, slated for 2012. His ex, who is also starring in the show, was nowhere to be found.

While it’s only been a few months since his very public divorce from J.Lo, it looks like the singer is going out of his way to move on. But could this just be Marc’s attempt to one-up the rumors that Jennifer is dating actor Bradley Cooper?

Marc Anthony Talks Doing Business With Jennifer Lopez

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez might have split in July after seven years of marriage, but the lives of the former power couple are still very connected – especially when it comes to business. Marc on Thursday in New York City about the launch of his new clothing line at Kohls, where Jennifer also has a line.
