Most separated spouses was baulk at the idea of having to continue working together.But for Jennifer Lopez and her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony, they had already signed a contract to film a new talent show together before splitting last July.
And while J.Lo insisted she was having 'fun' working with her ex on Q'Viva! The Chosen, she also admitted there could be difficult moments.
Appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman last night, the mother-of-two revealed she sometimes had 'communication' issues with Anthony - a similar problem which arose during their seven year marriage.
Asked by Letterman what it was like working with Anthony, Lopez replied: 'Ya no, its fun because we know each other so well, but it has its moments.'The same things that we kinda (mimes a wrestling movement with her hands)… didn’t really work... sometimes come up.'
Letterman then pressed her for further details: 'I want to know if they're the same things for you that they would be for anybody?'She elaborated: 'Communication... you know just like you're talking and you don't agree on something and then you're like, "Oh be quiet!" and things like that... you’ll see it on the show a little bit.'
When Letterman tried to clarify which ex would tell each other to 'be quiet', she quickly said no when asked if Anthony had told her to be silent.The series premiere of Lopez and Anthony's talent show Q'Viva scored 2.2million viewers on Saturday night on Univison - a U.S. Spanish language channel.
Since announcing their separation in July after seven years and two children Max and Emme, both Anthony and Lopez haven't wasted any time in moving on.The American Idol judge has been dating toyboy dancer Caspar Smart since November, while Anthony is in a relationship with Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima.
