Gaga for attention: Lady Gaga Smoking cannabis on stage(PHOTOS)

All but the most gullible observers would conclude that when she lit up a giant cannabis spliff on stage this week, Lady Gaga was, as ever, simply desperate to be noticed. The singer is on the European leg of her Born This Way Ball tour, and has been nagging for media exposure for the past couple of weeks. On Sunday, for instance, she went to London Fashion Week in a pink burka, festooned with raccoon tails.

Lady Gaga reveals an anchor tattoo

She unveiled a new piece of body art just last month, but Lady Gaga has already been back in the tattooist's chair. The 26-year-old has revealed an anchor tattoo on her ribcage. 'New Tat. Stamp of His Mermaid,' she tweeted.

It takes her tally of body art up to 11, nearly all of which are located on the left side of the pop star's body.

Also on her back Gaga has a daisy tattoo on her shoulder and a Tokyo Love image just above this, which is the handwriting of Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki.

Lady Gaga Injured During Concert

The show must go on, and no one knows this better than Lady Gaga. The singer reportedly suffered a head injury Sunday while performing a concert in Auckland, New Zealand. Gaga was performing her song "Judas" when one of her dancers accidentally hit her with a prop pole. She grabbed her head for a moment, but in true Gaga fashion, didn't miss a beat and continued singing.

According to GagaMedia.net, she later told the crowd she thought she may have a concussion but would keep performing. Gaga isn't the only singer to recently get injured at a concert. Last month, Justin Bieber accidentally ran into a glass wall backstage at one of his shows in Paris and was knocked out for several seconds.

Lady Gaga says she spent 72 hours in the egg

Lady Gaga took her incubating very seriously ahead of her egg-encased arrival at the Grammys on Sunday. "I was in there for about 72 hours," Gaga told Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday.

"It was a very creative experience. It was time for me to really prepare and think about the meaning of the song." The song in question was the debut of "Born This Way," a cut off her album of the same name, which drops in May.

Gaga told Seacrest that the next single from the new album will be a song called "Judas," and will debut "in a couple weeks."

Madonna Breaks Silence on Gaga ‘Born This Way’

After Lady Gaga released her hit single “Born This Way,” Madonna is finally offering her take on the song … and it’s not exactly enthusiastic.

Gaga has long expressed her admiration for Madonna, calling the pop icon an inspiration. Comparisons between the two divas have been inevitable, from their dance-hall beats to their risque musical treatment of s*x and religion. The two even teamed up for a “catfight” skit on “Saturday Night Live” in 2010.

But last February’s release of “Born This Way” had many questioning whether the Mama Monster had gone too far in emulating her idol. The song, critics charged, was stunningly similar to Madonna’s 1989 chart-topper, “Express Yourself.”

Gaga would go on to say that she got an e-mail from Madonna’s “people” saying they supported the song, but a representative for Madonna later said she was unaware of any such e-mail.

When ABC News asked viewers to contribute questions for Cynthia McFadden’s interview with Madonna, the most popular request by far was that McFadden find out how the singer feels about Gaga.

Lady Gaga accused of bathing with human blood in london hotel

She is known for her bizarre behaviour but Lady Gaga's latest alleged eccentricities are sure to shock even hardened fans.

The 25-year-old Bad Romance singer has been accused of leaving a London hotel room bathtub drenched in blood.

Rumours have flown around the net that the stiletto loving singer has started taking part in morbid Satanic rituals to keep her safe from spirits.

Staff at the plush Intercontinental Hotel in London were shocked when they went to clean Gaga's room and found blood in the bath.
However, the red substance has not been identified as blood.

One housekeeper claimed the pop superstar was 'bathing in blood as part of a Satanic ritual'.

She told website Truthquake: 'Lady Gaga left large amounts of blood in the suite during a stay this summer. The incident was reported to the concierge, who was told to put it out of her mind.'

But other sources remain skeptical the 'blood' was real and say it was more likely that the red liquid as part of a 'weird' stage costume or prop.

An insider said: 'All of the hotel's staff are convinced she was bathing in it or, at the very least, using it as part of one of her new costumes or weird stage routines.'

It is unclear if the American star had actually bathed in the liquid last summer.
Trendsetter Gaga is believed to be terrified of evil spirits and reportedly has every hotel and tour venue scanned by a team of paranormal investigators before she will agree to stay there.

Lady Gaga frightens young child as she has a cuddle with her

She may be a superstar across the globe but it seems that not everyone's a fan of Lady Gaga.

The singer, 25, was seen enjoying a cuddle with a young baby yesterday after the child's parents handed their daughter to the U.S. star, but baby Loissa wasn't impressed.

The blonde haired, blue-eyed child was almost in tears as she tried to escape from Gaga's clutches and reached out for her parents.

Wearing a red and white festive-themed jumper, the youngster's meeting with the blonde star came as she emerged from the ITV studios in London after recording her appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man show.

Lady Gaga set to dominate MTV awards

Lady Gaga looks set to dominate the MTV Europe Music Awards later, with six prize nominations and a show-stopping performance in Belfast's Odyssey Arena.

The US star goes up against the likes of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber at the annual awards show.

It all takes place at three venues across Northern Ireland's capital, with local band Snow Patrol playing a free gig to 15,000 people outside City Hall.

"The city is literally vibrating with joy," said frontman Gary Lightbody.

The singer, whose hits include Chasing Cars and Run, added: "It's kind of a dream to stop the traffic in Belfast.

"Very often Northern Ireland in the past has been in the news for other reasons and this is a really, really amazingly positive reason to be in the news."

Adele absent

Lady Gaga, 25, is up for the night's two biggest prizes, best song and best video - both for Born This Way, the title track of her current album.

In the best song category, she goes up against Bruno Mars's Grenade, Jennifer Lopez's On The Floor, Katy Perry's Firework and Adele's Rolling In The Deep.

Her competitors for best video include the Beastie Boys, whose star-studded short film for the single Make Some Noise features cameos from Steve Buscemi, Ted Danson, Elijah Wood, Chloe Sevigny and Kirsten Dunst.

French dance act Justice are also nominated for the apocalyptic video to Civilisation, alongside Beyonce, for Run The World (Girls) and Adele, again for Rolling In The Deep.

Teen stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are both performing at the event
London-born Adele, who is also up for best female, is unable to attend the ceremony as she prepares for throat surgery to repair her damaged vocal cords.

"That's really rough, man," said US R&B star Jason Derulo, who will perform on the outdoor stage at the ceremony.

"As a vocalist myself, there's been times in my life where there's been a big scare, so for that to be actually happening to her is very sad."

Other performers at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast include Coldplay, Jessie J and Queen - who will pick up the Global Icon accolade.

Funk-punk band Red Hot Chili Peppers, meanwhile, will play a concert at the nearby Ulster Hall as part of the ceremony.

But Belfast's most fervent fans seem to be waiting for just one performer - teen star Justin Bieber.

Despite bracing temperatures, scores of girls have been waiting outside the arena and several local hotels from 04:30 in the hopes of glimpsing their 17-year-old idol.

"He's just tweeted to say he's arrived in Belfast," said Cara Hunter, prompting piercing screams from the fans around her.

Katy Perry, who managed 12 costume changes at the 2008 show, is up for four awards
The singer has been keeping a low profile, however, after a young woman alleged he had fathered her child last year.

Bieber denied the allegations on US TV on Friday, saying: "I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim."

His girlfriend, Disney star Selena Gomez, is hosting the MTV awards. She appeared before the press on Saturday, but answered only scripted questions from MTV red carpet host Tim Kash.

"I was nervous coming over here," she said, "because this is a really big show. But once I read the script a couple of times and went over the skits, I felt much better."

The European branch of the MTV Awards is generally more relaxed and off-the-cuff than the bigger, American version.

The ceremony lands at a different destination every year, from Berlin to Madrid. Belfast is so far the smallest host city.

Organisers said there had been a "10-year courtship" between the council and MTV.

Previously, it had been felt that Belfast's infrastructure could not cope with the demands of a show that requires 39 separate hotels to house personnel from production crews to celebrity entourages.

"It's a multi-million dollar event," MTV's Richard Godfrey said. "It's the most ambitious show we've done for a long time."

Belfast City Council believes the ceremony could generate £10 million in tourism revenues, while a specially organised Belfast Music Festival in the run-up to the show has seen several local bands sign management and record deals.

"People in London and LA and all around the world are going to see bands that they wouldn't have seen without the awards being here," said Lightbody.

Lady Gaga to sue jewelry and cosmetic line over trademark

The singer has filed a lawsuit against a Nevada-based company that applied for permission to use her trademark name in order to peddle cosmetics and jewelry.

Gaga has issued a legal “Hell No!” in the form of her lawsuit. Report says that Gaga is suing Excite Worldwide LLC for applying to trademark “Lady Gaga” and “Lady Gaga LG.

The US Patent and Trademark Office has not yet approved the application. Gaga says that the company’s actions are getting in the way of her own trademarking efforts.

The company is essentially encroaching on Gaga’s turf and her cultural name recognition. Gaga is also concerned that the company could confuse customers into thinking that she endorses or is affiliated with their products.

The company’s usage of her name could also cause her fans to purchase their wares and she doesn’t want the company falsely preying on her fans by using her name. Gaga is seeking unspecified damages in her suit.
