D'banj hangs out with world billionaires;Bill gates,Mo Ibrahim,Bono,,

Dbanj must be super excited because not every time you see him smiling with his entire 32 white teeth.Just three days ago he shared a photo of him posing with Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote as he shared the good news that Dangote has endorsed his ‘Koko garri’.

D’banj obviously has proved to critics who thinks his music career is over that he is a businessman and him venturing into the agriculture sector is definitely paying off.
D'banj pictured above with the richest men in the world, Bill Gates.

He also met one of the richest men in Africa, Sudanese-born billionaire, Mo Ibrahim and singer and humanitarian, Bono. Check out the pic below:

D'banj Is A Failed Artist, Plus Signing Tonto Dikeh Was A Joke- National Enquirer

On his 34th birthday which was also Tonto Dikeh's 29th, the artisit announced that he has signed Tonto Dikeh to his Label, DKM /LEE family. This is an interesting article written by National Enquirer. Please read:

The latest news in the entertainment industry that’s going viral at the moment is the Dbanj/Tonto Dike’s record label signing deal which has been generating a lot of controversies. Pundits have seen this move by Dbanj as a last minute survival strategy of a drowning man, in fact it is what National Enquirer will refer to as the JOKER of year 2014. We can’t wait to see the end of the movie, quote us.
In case you’re a bit behind, Dbanj has just officially unveiled his signees into his record labels, DB Records a.k.a LeeTemple and in his team are daringly notorious actress, Tonto Dike whose call name at the LeeTemple will be PokoLee, also there’s Dbanj’s younger brother, KaySwitch (KasSwitchLee), and upcoming musicians, MossKrissLee and RalphKrissLee whom we learnt are blood brothers while the egg head of the LeeTemple wants to be known as BangaLee-The White Lion (Kiniun Funfun).

There’s no doubting the fact that, Dbanj who was one time a toast of the industry is at crossroads possibly owing to his overzealousness or maybe wrong decision and some are even saying the talented lanky musician might have developed kind of complexity due to situation on ground. He’s in desperate need to fill up the gap which has been so obvious after leaving the Mohits crew.

Don’t get this wrong, Dbanj is still much around doing well but not as commensurate though, there had been arguments of his track records right from when he left his former label, Mohits till this time, take it or leave it, there hasn’t been much in terms of a major hit song or album aside the nation cup’s sound track, Top of The World and later Eja Nla which tried to lift him but didn’t go as presumed.

It is pertinent to note that when Dbanj left the Mohits crew to join Kanye’s GOOD Music, so much was expected of him, he did get his fans’ back then because they see a tag-team with Kanye as something unique, out of this world, extraordinary and a boost for the blossoming Nigeria entertainment industry; the thought was that, shortly, Dbanj will soon be hobnobbing with the likes of Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and so on, on the American Red Carpet but alas, it was just a movie script which never came to pass, even the primary assignment of getting to produce him saw no light of the day aside the remix video of his last effort with Mohits, OliverTwist where Kanye did nothing but mocking him at the background, please go see it again, there was no word from him except flipping his images few times and Kanye’s last gesture at the end of the video suggested nothing but “you’re on your own”, what Nigerians will call OYO.

And to say that DBanj didn’t even make the last seat at the Kanye West and Kim Kadashian wedding that held at the historic Chateau De Versailles in France recently is sad sad enough for someone who’s part of the Good Music management.

Worst still was the recently concluded MTV Awards which held in South Africa where DBanj did not just lose out completely (he didn’t win any award) but got no recognition at all, unlike his erstwhile team mates who coasted home few laurels and had swell time at the international show.

In a frantic move to pull media stunt, DBanj went to town to announce what can best be described as the funniest deal of 2014, he told the world he’s signing contentious actress, Tonto Dikeh whose incursion into music got a flabbergasted viewing from fans with laughable comments that eventually marred her chances.

“Yes, Tonto’s weird idiosyncrasies will definitely drag fans for anything she ventures into but she can only fool people once before they back out, so why is DBanj making such a grave mistake, anyway he’s a sinking ship, he definitely need a help”, says a critic who spoke to National Enquirer.

Other school of thought are of the opinion that, DBanj has always been in the habit of using gullible stars to shore up himself in the media anytime it looks like the chips are falling down just like the pranks he played with Genevieve Nnaji where they both left everybody to guess and believe whatever they feel was happening between them. The truth is, Genevieve is at the receiving end because the whole world now sees her like she fell so cheap even if it were meant to be a cooked up act, the fact remains that, DBanj has made his point and got loads of media attention which was helpful in cornering some of the product endorsements then.

Now it is the turn of Tonto Dikeh who will have nothing to lose anyway because, hers, is an already battered image that needs to be managed but how far can the deal between DBanj and Tonto who fondly refer to each other as Dad and daughter in business lasts and who do you think stands to gain from the relationship.

The former Miss USA has been bombarded by claims from co-stars that her story that she's been swept off her feet by an 'African Prince' - who has never been seen - is fake.
MailOnline has learned that the closest anyone has got to guessing the identity of Kenya's mystery man is that he is Nigerian pop star D'Banj - real name Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo.
Kenya has been accused of drawing up an agreement to pay him up to $40,000 to pose as her boyfriend and provide her with an interesting storyline for the upcoming reunion show
D'Banj, who splits his time between Nigeria, the UK and Lagos, is known for his playboy lifestyle as well as his music. He calls girls who are good in bed 'kokos'.
While he may not be quite that rich, D’Banj is a huge star in his home country, where is renowned as a legendary womanizer.
His nickname is the Koko master, which is Nigerian slang for someone who has a harem of women and he has even brought out his own range of condoms. There was talk he would make an appearance in the upcoming RHOA reunion show, but sources at Bravo have revealed this is highly unlikely.
Koko Master means someone who has a harem of women in Nigeria? Lol. Read the full report HERE

Former Miss USA and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore paid D’banj to pose as boyfriend?

Former Miss USA and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore, who claims she’s dating an Africa prince and was in Lagos for Valentine, has hired D’banj to be her boyfriend in the reality show reunion show.
Here is the report from MediaTakeOut
MediaTakeOut.com just received some extra steaming hot tea surrounding Kenya, and the upcoming Real Housewives reality show.
We spoke exclusively to a Bravo insider that told us that Bravo has just set up taping for the reunion everyone is scheduled to attend, each lady and their husband.
And we’re told that while Porsha does not have a guest/husband, Kenya Moores will be bringing a guest. Word is she wants to help secure her spot for another season so she has in fact hired an African prince.
According to another person close to Kenya, she has contracted to bring in Nigerian singer D’Banj to the reunion. And by “contracted” we mean a business deal . . . she has hired him to pretend to be her boyfriend. D’Banj is a popular singer in Nigeria, and he and Kenya have done appearances together before – but they are not in any kind of relationship . . . and he did not buy her any type of car.
Kenya promised D’Banj $40K, plus promotion, to LIE on TV and pretend to be her boyfriend, D’banj happens to be the African Prince now,  anyway i don’t see anything wrong in paying someone to date you or being paid to be dated, that’s the real thing….

TheNET eventually got to pomp and plain ask D’banj if he is a father already, and D'Banj replied: ‘I do not have a child, so it is capital NO!'

D’Banj Flops In Zimbabwe, Gets Booed Off Stage(photos)

The great kokomaster may have just had his first major setback according to reports coming from Zimbabwe that the self acclaimed "entertainer" flopped on stage during a concert.
Kokomaster Dbanj was supposed to storm and take over Zimbabwe last weekend at the Lion Lager Summer Beer Festival dubbed the "Battle of Africa" but according to reports from Zimbabwe, our man delivered a very lukewarm performance that eventually had him booed off stage.

According to AllAfrica.com, the festival featured Ugandan reggae musician Bebe Cool and local dancehall artistes Winky D, Guspy Warrior and King Shaddy.
D'Banj represented West Africa while Bebe Cool represented East Africa.

D'Banj was the main attraction and when it was turn for him to perform, he exploded onto the stage
amid pomp and zest but soon fizzled out and slumped into near- pornography with some fans.

He ran out of steam after exhausting his familiar songs in less than an hour and went into what many revellers described as "hogwash".

His opening song was "Fall in Love", followed by "Oliver Twist", "Kukere" remix, "Don't Tell Me Nonsense", "Igwe" and "Why Me". Then he lost the plot.

Neither his scantily dressed dancers nor his swag was enough to sway the majority of the crowd that became visibly restless and disappointed.
So disappointing was his performance that he resorted to X-rated antics with ladies he calls "Kokolates" on the stage, in a bid to kill time.

Among the "Kokolates" was songstress Ammara Brown, who jumped on stage and joined in the dirty dancing.

"Let me see all my Kokolates on stage, now shake your boom boom and do the catwalk," he said, amid boos from the crowd, especially men.
Some disgruntled fans hurled insults and obscenities.

D'Banj failed to impress and was the opposite of the Nigerian twins P-Square who performed at the same festival last year and left fans asking for more.
P-Square were even barred from leaving the stage by fans who craved for more.

"This guy should not have been the main act at the show. He has a few hit songs we know that he has performed. Now look at how he is whiling up the remaining time with the ladies," said a fan in the crowd.
I am sure, he will miss the days he goes out with the mohits gang where he can freely perform any song from D'Prince and Wande coal album.it doesn't pay to stand alone.

D’banj Goes Wild At Felabration, Bumping And Grinding On Stage (Photos And Video)

Nigerian musicians really losing it on stage especially during Felabration. The other day we saw Burma Boy almost going n*de while performing, Vector, the rapper kissing a girl on stage and now the koko master himself showing he is the ultimate entertainer by doing this.
Dbanj came on stage like a boxing heavyweight champion and put up an erotic show.

''I Was Married To Don Jazzy, I Truly Miss Him''

D’banj and Don Jazzy, no doubt, dominated the music scene for many years before the cookies crumbled and they went their separate ways.

Today, they have formed individual group, D’banj-DB Records, Don Jazzy-Marvin Record, but something still seems to be connecting the two together.

In an interview recently, D’banj confessed that he really missed Don Jazzy whom he had spent the better part of his career with.

He said “If I say I don’t miss Don Jazzy, I am lying. I have spent the better part of my career with him. I was married to him in a way (laughs). So I miss everything about Mo’Hits: the family, the movement, and the vibe of being in the studio with him. I miss the jokes and the arguments, but I have since keyed into the notion that nothing can stop a moving train. Nevertheless we can always do music together. The track, ‘Top of the World’ was produced by a Grammy Award Winner. The songs ‘Finally’ and ‘Don’t Tell Me Nonsense’ was produced by my producer while ‘Oliver Twist’ was produced by Don Jazzy. So, why won’t I have him on my 10 years anniversary album?”

Does Don Jazzy feel this way too? Really, Don Jazzy, who now operates Marvin Records, has not opened up on their issue since their separation, he has remained focused with his business, shunning out hit songs to remain permanently on top of the game. We are waiting if he would indeed accept to feature in D’banj’s 10th anniversary album.

I Would Love To Marry Genevieve – Nigeria's Top Star Reveals

In an interview with PunchNG. The self-styled Kokomaster was clearly in his elements as he talked at length, amid occasional bouts of laughter, about his career and other issues that were important to him.

One of the subjects was about his rumoured relationship with Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji.

Judging by the manner in which the actress’ name kept popping off his lips, it was obvious that D’banj had a very soft spot for her.

ON GENEVIEVE :

“Apart from the fact that she is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve’s name will not come up because she featured in my biggest song of all time,Fall in Love. So if E True Story comes to Nigeria to interview me, she will definitely be called upon to tell my story,” he said.

As if to confirm that there was more to his relationship with the actress than he had always admitted, D’banj added, “I would love to have Genevieve as my wife.  We never can tell what God plans for us in the future. I have studied her and I realised that anyone that has her as his woman has found himself a treasure. Just like the Bible says, any man who finds a wife, finds a good thing.”
