The fear of marriage these days is the beginning of wisdom. Heavily pregnant Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo  who less than a yer ago was married or engaged to a Norway based ex footballer Ato has confirmed to popular blogger SDK that her marriage which she called an engagement is off.

She finally decided to respond after a few questions and in tears and breathing heavily explained how she made the mistake of her life but is forging on for the sake of her baby.

-Hello Uche,i have a few quick questions for you.I heard your barely a year old marriage has crashed,is this true?

 .. Well that may be true but what isn't true is that it wasn't really marriage yet because it wasn't fully formalised, we were still in the process of formalising it when all hell broke loose, so I was merely Engaged to be married to Ato Ubby.    

-it was just an introduction?why didn’t you clear that impression all this while?

…I just felt there was no need to do so because the wedding plans was to follow shortly,unfortunately it didn’t because things didn’t work out the way it should.i walked into a no-win situation.

-What happened? 

 This is really a hard question to answer, but all I can say Is that barely one month into the Engagement and in the process of planning a formal wedding I realised I had made the greatest mistake of my life.The Foundation of the Union was based On lies and Deceit..shocking lies.we had been dating for a almost year and i thought i knew it all but nothing prepared me for what unfolded.

-Is he married already?

...No,he isnt married to anyone else 

-You got pregnant in the process?

On the verge of trying to salvage the situation I found out I was expecting a child. I kept quiet to the Rumours Making the rounds because I was left with the option of thinking for my child and trying to salvage a dead situation but now I have finally made up my mind to break off the Engagement and my Reasons are Irreconcilable...

Uche so you are saying you never got married and the engagement is off?

 I just want to be left alone to take care of my Child. Stella I wasn't married I was engaged to be married but as things stand now, the engagement is officially broken due to irreconcilable differences and since I am having my baby soon, my Doctors has advised me to rest as my health and that of my Baby is the most important thing right now..  

-So you are the one walking away and not him?you want to go into details?

..Yes i am the one walking out on the pack of lies,I am not going to pretend because i want to be married,i am not desperate and i would rather swallow my pride and accept i made a big mistake than forge ahead in lies.I am sorry i cannot go into details because i do not want to trade words or run my ex down because he is the father of the child i am carrying.

I am sorry if keeping quiet misled people into my status was already married.

The excitement of looking forward to birthing my child kinda numbs the shock and disappointment but i will be fine.

So,after the introduction,the planned marriage was dead on arrival?

“We are aware of the false rumour about Jim and Nadia’s breakup. We have decided to ignore it because it is unfounded. Jim and Nadia have not broken up, as claimed by Emma.

“That guy is a frustrated musician and blogger whose stock – in – trade is blackmail. All he does is to meddle in other people’s business. And if he does not have his way, he goes into a tantrum and fabricates stories.

We will act when we deem fit. He can keep on ranting for now,” he said.

However, Nadia Buari is yet to make any comment on the report.

Ara reveals: My husband was married to two other women

Aralolu ‘Ara’ Olamuyiwa who recently got divorced from her 3 year marriage has finally explained why the  union packed up.

In a recent interview with Encomium Weekly the entertainer alleges that her ex-husband was married to two other women while she was with him.

‘I didn’t really know that he was legally married to two other women. One of them called me and sent me her marriage certificate. We called each other and agreed to annul it where we got married.’

Ara and ex-husband Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu got married  on June 4, 2009 at the Oshodi/Isolo registry in Lagos.

The drummer in July 2011 announced their separation and decided to annul their marriage at a Lagos Local Government Registry.

The couple have a son, Ire.

Eva Longoria has reportedly split from Eduardo Cruz. The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress – who divorced ex-husband Tony Parker in 2010 after three years of marriage amid allegations he had cheated on her – is said to be focusing on “work” in the wake of the “mutual” split.

Heidi Klum breaks her silence on shock split from Seal

Seal broke his silence about their shocking break-up right after it was announced, but until now, Heidi Klum has remained silent.The German model has finally opened up about the demise of her marriage in the April issue of Elle magazine.

The 38-year-old supermodel has likened the split to a tornado.She says: 'I feel like I'm in the eye of the tornado. It's emotions inside of your body that are a tornado. And then the outside world doing all this craziness -- with you wanting it or not wanting it -- is another tornado.

'But as hard as it is, so is life. And sometimes I think a curve-ball just comes at you. Instead of something straight that you catch, it hits you in the head from the side that you didn't expect."She admits that, though it appeared they had an idyllic, fairytale romance, their seven-year marriage was rife with problems that they tried to keep private.

The Project Runway host says: To the outside world, you don't really share all the things that happen. You kind of share just the most amazing sides.'But I don't really want to get into any of that stuff. With my life, my family, my business -- I want to go forward.

First, Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard called it quits. Then Katy Perry and Russell Brand, and rumors of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. And now Heidi Klum and Seal have declared they're untying the knot, a celebrity split that seems to be breaking hearts from coast to coast. Since the rumors broke Saturday (and were confirmed in a joint statement released Sunday night), Facebook, Twitter and comment boards across the web have been ablaze with hot, tearful protests. "Nooooooo. Please :(( I adore u guys," wrote one disappointed fan on Twitter. "What!! they were the only hopeful Hollywood couple," tweeted another. Shock and surprise over the split is understandable. Married in 2005 following a courtship that began with a love-at-first-sight meeting, the supermodel-slash-television mogul and her Grammy Award-winning husband have raised four children together and renewed their marriage vows every year for the past seven years.

"I'm so sad that Seal and Heidi Klum have called it quits," says Lawrence Winnerman, a 41-year-old tech project manager from Seattle. "I always loved the romance of them. Her, the German supermodel; him, the hot singer. And I liked that they were kind of the model interracial couple. They were the couple I could really root for and were way more cool than [that] Kardashian and the basketball player she married for a week." Dr. Gail Saltz, psychiatrist with New York Presbyterian Hospital and a regular contributor to TODAY, says it's not unusual for celebrity breakups to have a big impact on the rest of us, especially when it's a seemingly happy couple like this one. "I think we're more interested and curious about this marriage because they appeared so different from each other," she says.  In a world filled with posed family portraits and publicity stunt marriages, Klum and Seal's marriage seemed genuine, says Saltz. "It was always more about the romance with each other and about their children and their family than about being spotted and photographed," she says. "They seemed to actually stay out of the public eye a fair amount. This was one of the longer lasting marriages of the celebrity world. And it was without chaos; there was no 'We're together.

We're apart. We're together. We're apart.' It seemed stable and that by itself makes people more sad." But we're not just sad, she says. Breakup bombshells like this can make us worry about the state of marriage itself, and the ability of anyone to stay together. "We spend a lot of time hyping celebrity marriages and then hyping celebrity divorces and it gives one the illusion that nobody can stay together," she says. "But that's such an unfair skew. How could you be disillusioned because a supermodel with several TV shows and one of the biggest singers on the planet didn't make it? It doesn't have meaning for you or your neighbor, really.
