Big Blast!!! : Emmy Collins Slams Chika Ike, Funke Akindele, Toke Makinwa, Uche Jombo And Monalisa Chinda's AMVCA Outfits

 

 Avant-garde and versatile designer Emmy Collins is at it again. lol. Emmy, who celebrities have on so many occasions rained abuses on for mocking their red carpet outfits has published on his blog his thoughts about Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda, Toke Makinwa, Funke Akindele and Chika Ike's oufits to the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.

And here's all the mean things he wrote. Emmy says he no send anybody cos it is quite funny how some women take offence even though all you are trying to do is to inspire them.

    On Uche Jombo's oufit:

   

 I don`t even know what a neck piece is doing on her neck really. These lasses should fathom when less is more. The only good news is that when I consider the black slit cum butchered
    dress that exposed Uche`s huge thighs awhile ago,then this should be regarded as making headway.

    Monalisa Chinda:
   

 What planet are these people from biko? Pluto or Mars? I really think we need to bring them down to planet earth because I can`t fathom for the life of me where they access the inspiration to underwhelm.

    This dress appears to be literally bursting at all seams.The stress on the seams are quite vivid and the poor quality of the fabric didn`t help matters. Perhaps the designer coughed out a king’s ransom for this fabric but that doesn`t deflect the fact that the fabric which I`m assuming is Satin appears so cheap.

    The choice of color was flawed as well. Please take your eyes to the neckline, apparently the designer was going for a heart neckline but the multiple squeezes on that area don’t say ‘heart’ to me.

    We definitely need better tailors in Nigeria and also designers who understand the act of quality control because if the designers had done proper control they wouldn’t put this dress on an enemy talk more of a supposed A-lister. Is she an A-lister? Yup,she must be. Ekwesili ipia designer of this dress utali.

     Funke Akindele:

   

 Kai, slit don suffer ni. Even Funke must show legs, abi? Wonders shall never end. Why these people no dey gree stay for their lanes, me I no sabi.

    Ngwanu make I bless Funke with 2 out of 10 and see how she feels about that. This is just one hideous dress,GBAM!

I didn`t even know sequins are made in Yellow, lol. Loads of sins were going on in this dress when I bumped into my old friend. One of the sins were that the dress wasn`t properly pressed but then I guess considering the antecedents of NEPA coupled with the scarcity of fuel, she might have a ready-made excuse for the little indiscretion of hers.

    In sumation, this dress didn`t quite cut it. And that pout? Hmmmm, women I hail una o!

Emmy Collins Attacks Actress Mercy Johnson : ''She Wears N3k Tejusho Dress And........

 Nigerian popular designer, Emmy Collins, who is known for being so outspoken and constantly criticising celebrities for their dress sense has come out to attack Nollywood actress mercy Johnson over her appearance in the photo below.

This is what he said below:

Okay, so I got this from a reader this morning, "ehen small aproko …Emmy, I saw pics of Mercy Johnson looking tacky on other blogs and they tagged her sexy. I confuse o" My understanding of the mood of the author of this comment was that of someone gob-smacked by either a blatant lie or blatant ignorance.

Mercy Johnson looks so cheap here that if cheap were to be animated today, it would most definitely not want to be associated with Mercy Johnson. Yes, she seemed so hideously dressed in that hideous dress (haha, playing with words, na me biko). I don`t even know where to start or end, the N3k tejusho dress, akpola shoes, the "mgbekerish" pose, the walls behind her(background), foot mat, et al, yet some blogger deemed it appropriate to tag this picture right here "sexy". Kai, sexy don suffer ni. Abasi mbo, Chineke no n'eluigwe, Oluwa! What did we do to deserve this?

Okay, I know what we did. We became too hypocritical. I can imagine cheap (I mean animated version) blurting out words like - "abeg, abeg, I know say I cheap, but no be like that nah,kai! No put me near that cheap looking woman, biko" - when compared to Mercy Johnson in this ensembles of hers. On a very positive note, we should all be thankful to the almighty God/Allah that she didn`t venture putting on those sunnies in her hands, because if she did, kai, egbe for gas, lol.

More often than not, I wonder if these sort of classless half-baked celebrities that we are bedeviled with aren`t God`s idea of punishment for all the iniquities we commit against him daily. We have "afọ anu" celebrities that are ineffective in all spheres of life, be it politics, fashion, etc. Tell me a Naija celebrity that has influenced any fashion trend? Perhaps just about 2% of them have pet projects, except when they surround themselves with cameramen while visiting motherless babies homes. In another clime, these are supposedly the innovative bunch, but it's sad that the last word a well meaning and well-informed individual would use to describe any Nigerian actress or actor today is "innovative". How did we get here? It has become a nonsensical game of 'please find out where Genevieve or Omotola has visited, me too I wan go there nah and make sure all the blogs will post the pictures'."

WOW: Peter Okoye Slams Popular Fashion Designer Emmy Collins For Criticizing His Wedding

 

Fashion designer Emmy Collins is known for criticizing celebs and Peter Okoye gave it back to him on the social network, Twitter, first check out what Emmy Collins said to Peter.

 

According to Collins he couldn’t understand why Peter and his friends decided to wear hideous polyester kaftans, adding that the stitching was the worst he had ever seen.

If you guys don`t offer accolades to me for restraining myself from critiquing Lola and Peter Okoye during their wedding, I will claim it in Jesus name, Amen.

 

Yes, there were enough talking points from that wedding yet I refused to touch them even to the extent that a few comments insinuated that I was playing what someone described as “Pasha”.

Well, I must say that Peter and the dudes on this image were totally off the mark when they decided to deck themselves in this hideous polyester kaftans.

As if the fabrics weren’t disastrous enough, the quality of stitching employed in putting it together compares with the worst I have witnessed so far considering the fact that it is Peter`s wedding for crying out loud and of course he is not short of a bob or two.

I actually saw the above posts that infuriated Emmy Collins and it was very shocking to see the details Laura posted about Linda's shopping in Dubai. Showing receipts made it even worst like Linda has ever showed receipts of the things people buy .

The drama started when Emy Collins wrote  about Laura Ikeji's Post:

When I received a link to a certain tweet which Laura ikeji had apparently tweeted, I thought someone was simply sending me on a wild goose chase and so I ignored them all throughout last week. I again received the link this week and decided to check it out and when I did check out her twitter page, I was gobsmacked.

She even posted an invoice of her sister’s purchases from Dubai.In fact that was the first time ever I had heard of someone posting an invoice online to prove the price of an item.That was a new one to me for real. This is proof that some people will always remain poor regardless of how much money they acquire. It is called a poverty mentality.

In Nigeria of today where a huge percentage of people are unsure of where their next meal will come from, this chic thinks this is something worth posting online.I understand that she or her sisters don’t contribute to the hunger that is rife in our country but this is highly insensitive and depicts bushwomanism/mgbekeism.
