Singer Beyonce, has been named the most powerful celebrity in the world by Forbes magazine. The magazine, yesterday June 30th, unveiled its Celebrity 100 and listed her above every other celeb in the world. Her husband Jay Z surprisingly came a distant 6th.
Out of the 10 most powerful and highest earning celebs of 2014, 7 of them are blacks, Pop star Justin Bieber fell to 33 in 2014 from been number 9 in 2013, while tennis player Roger Federer, director Steven Spielberg and rock band Bon Jovi dropped out of the top 10 in this year.

According to DishNation, Jay Z is so enamored with his superstar wife's style and image that he's urging his longtime protégé Rihanna to clean up her bad girl image by dressing and acting more like Beyonce.
The Rapper who discovered the Barbados-born singer nearly a decade ago, recently signed Rihanna to his Roc Nation record label. Now, a music industry insider tells Dish Nation:
"Jay Z is trying to shape a less ghetto, more elegant image for Rihanna. He wants her to ditch the sheer dresses" - like the nearly nude one she wore to the June 2nd CDFA Awards - "and the marijuana logos and references. Jay warned Rihanna that he runs a
tight ship. He suggested she tone down her drinking, smoking and partying and go on juice cleanse to rid her body of toxins. Jay also told Rihanna to curtail some of her more outrageous social media posts."
Not so coincidentally, Rihanna quit Instagram last month. But the Jigga Man pulled out the big gun when he asked Beyonce - whom Rihanna once referred to as "gorgeous, a stab to my self esteem" - to mentor the 'Diamonds' singer.

According to reports, students at one one of America’s oldest and prestigious universities will take a course studying RnB star Beyonce.
Called “Feminist Perspectives: Politicising Beyoncé“, Rutgers University in New Jersey is offering the program as part of its women and gender studies course.
It will be centered on the growth of the “Drunk in Love” star’s media empire, with an emphasis as a “black icon” and sexy symbol while managing a successful marriage to Jay Z and motherhood.

Personally, i think this fan said what so many people have in their minds. The fan posted the rant on Instagram and it's been trending...a lot people are in support of what she wrote. I kinda agree too. Kanye was family, they should have been there and if they were wary of the cameras, they should have insisted on not being filmed. And it wasn't like they were busy on tour, they went to the Hamptons and Beyonce even posted photos online. Why Jay Z & Beyonce missed Kim and Kanyye's wedding?
The rapper, who was expected to be his close friend and collaborator's best man, reportedly decided to spend the weekend with his wife in The Hamptons, New York, in favour of attending the nuptials.
Sources told USMagazine.com that Jay, 44, bailed on the couple's wedding at the Forte di Belvedere at the last minute, as he wanted to enjoy a quiet Memorial Day holiday weekend with Beyoncé and their two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Jay and Beyoncé's absence came as a surprise, as the rapper has been friends with Kanye, 36, for more than 14 years.
Kanye first came to prominence on the rap mogul's influential 2001 album The Blueprint and they have collaborated many times since then, including on their album Watch The Throne in 2011, which later saw them embark on a sold-out world tour together.
Jay Z previously admitted he felt like Kanye's big brother.
Asked about their decision to tour together, he said: "It actually was really easy because of the relationship. It's always been a big brother thing and a respect thing."

Rihanna's Party Is the real reason Solange Attacked Jay Z(Read)
According to uk Daily Mail, Beyoncé's sister Solange lashed out at Jay-Z in an astonishing elevator attack after the music mogul said he was attending Rihanna's Met Ball after-party without his wife, it has been reported.
According to the New York Daily News, the blazing row was actually sparked by Jay-Z, who snapped at Solange when two of her friends tried to use his name to get into the starry after-party at The Standard hotel in Manhattan following the gala last week.
And it was when Solange demanded they leave that Jay-Z said he was heading off to Rihanna's bash without Beyoncé', prompting Solange to hit out at him.
A source said Solange's pals 'wouldn't leave and kept name dropping Jay Z. They were pretending they were guests of his and not hers. Management went to Julius (Beyonce's bodyguard) and said there's a problem.'
Jay-Z soon got wind of it and snapped at Solange, saying 'don't use my name'. This in turn prompted Solange to insist that she wanted to leave the bash.
On the way out, Jay-Z said he'd be heading to Up & Down on West 14th Street, where Rihanna was holding her own post-Met Ball bash, a second source said.
Allegedly, the star said he didn't need extra security because Beyoncé was not joining him.
The source said Solange, who seemed 'drunk and irritated', said: ‘Why can't you go home?' telling Beyonce 'Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?'"
But Jay-Z replied: 'You're one to talk', which sent Solange into a rage.Once inside the elevator, she started punching and kicking her brother-in-law - an attack that was caught on surveillance video and leaked to TMZ.com on Monday.
Ultimately, the rapper decided against going to Rihanna's party and he was seen getting into a separate car as Beyoncé and Solange left together.
Jay-Z and Rihanna are longtime cohorts. While president of Def Jam, he signed the Barbados beauty in 2004 and just days ago she signed to his label Roc Nation.She is also managed by Roc Nation.
Reps for Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Solange did not return requests for comment.

Beyonce knowles has a 4-year-old half brother (pictured right, above) who she has never met. She doesn't even acknowledge him. Beyonce's dad had a baby with another woman, Alexsandra Wright, while still married to Beyonce's mum so there's a lot of bad blood there. Apart from dropping him as her manager, Beyonce also put him off her payroll.
Alexandra tells TMZ that Mathew Knowles owes her $32k in back child support and because he's not giving her any money, she's destitute and has to use food stamps to survive. The course will allow fans to explore Beyonce's alter ego Sasha Fierce, and debate the extent of control she has over her own image. They will also debate whether her red hot persona is an outlet of female sexual empowerment or merely complying with western gender stereotypes.
"This isn’t a course about Beyonce’s political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama’s inauguration weekend. She certainly pushes boundaries. In her yesterday's much-anticipated interview with talk show icon Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce finally admitted she was a member of the New World Order, also known as the Illuminati.
Rumors have swirled since the episode's taping; many fans wondered why Oprah never questioned the star about her alleged Illuminati ties and commented that it might be due to Oprah's own participation in Illuminati activities.
