This diamond-encrusted $1million hairstyle shocked the world when it was unvield in the seventies.
Now the same jeweller, Lawrence Graff, has recreated the hair and jewel style, this time to the value of $500million to mark his 60th year in the business.

It features 22 items of jewellery, including record breaking pieces such as earrings made from 51.53 carat and 50.76 carat D color Flawless type 11a diamonds, prized for their brilliance.
Mr Graff founder and chairman of Graff started his career aged 15 as an apprentice in Hatton Garden, London. He said of the images of the original hairstyle, in the standard on December 30, 1969; “Until this time, images showing fine jewellery were typically modelled in a more conservative style”.
This image broke the mould by using a younger model, and created the idea of diamonds being aspirational to younger women.
