Asked why he took on a Tinsel guest role, Majid’s answer is both emotional and practical.
“A long time ago, I realized that my acting is not only about myself, it’s an extension of many things that I hope for in our industry. So I made up my mind to extend myself to film projects that improve our movie making prospects within the continent. I believe that this can also inspire young actors coming behind me. Tinsel is a typical reflection of that, after all, its’ one of the most successful soaps out of Nigeria.”

Jonathan Nwadinobi popularly known as Eze of Common Anago fame (Nigerian musician) is a household name in Nigeria’s entertainment scenes and beyond. Before now, he was said to be secretly seeing the beautiful Ghana actress, Bibi Bright. The Ghana’s most promised actress has denied this vehemently; however, there are strong indications that, the two are lovers.
When these two loverbirds were confronted a few months ago to comment about their rumoured secret affair, they both denied the allegation saying they don’t even know each other. Their (mother and kids) tenancy is due already yet Eze has no intention of re-paying or re-locating them. Popular Ghana Actor, Eddy Nartey Stabbed By His Nigerian Girlfriend
It has been reliably gathered that Ghanaian actor Eddy Nartey has being allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend at his residence in Accra.
According to a close source Eddy Nartey who was present with the said girlfriend at the premiere of the his new movie “Testing the Waters” at Silver bird cinema on Friday October 27, 2012, had some misunderstanding with his lover during the premiere so as a result they both left the cinema to separate homes.
The source said that apparently actor Eddy allegedly went home with another lady to spend the night with her however his girlfriend somehow had information that Eddy was cheating on her with another woman. His girlfriend who is said to be a Nigerian lady, based the hint went to Eddy’s house unannounced in the wee hours of Sunday at about 4am.
The source said that Eddy’s girlfriend on reaching the house did not knock or call Eddy but she rather went through a window made of glass louver blades. She broke the entire louver blades and entered the room and truly caught Eddy red-handed with another woman warming his bed.
A source present on the scene said that Eddy’s girlfriend out of anger destroyed almost every item in the room including a 42 inches Television set, Home Theater, tore almost all the cloths in Eddy’s closet, bed sheets, shoes and virtually everything she laid her hands on.
The betrayed lover of the actor then picked up a piece of the glass louver blades and stabbed actor Eddy Nartey with it and he bled profusely until he was rushed to the hospital. The case has since been sent to the Mamprobi Police station where his Nigerian girlfriend was held in custody and Eddy who was in a critical condition has been hospitalized.

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has time to respond to reports that she's bleaching her skin. See it below...
My attention has been drawn to recent media reports that I am bleaching my skin and the continuous nature of this wicked, unfounded and absolutely unnecessary misinformation have compelled me to once again respond.
These stories are absolutely not true and do not in any way put food on anybody’s table, does not add value to any body’s life and can only be described as mischief.
Truth is that even if I was bleaching, I do not owe anyone any explanation, but I am not bleaching, I have not bleached and I won’t bleach.
I love my skin just the way it is and I do my best to keep it healthy and nice.
If God has remained good to me and continues to make my skin nicer, I do not see how it should be a problem to someone.
In a society that largely frowns on skin bleaching, it would be unfair and very unkind to falsely accuse me of bleaching when I am absolutely innocent of that charge.
As an actress I take different pictures under different shades of light and with different shades of makeup depending on what the picture would be used for.
It is therefore not strange to find different pictures of me looking different. It does not mean I am bleaching and one does not need to be an industry player to know this.
Even in movies, depending on who the director is, there are different lighting angles and brightness levels that can be used to make a character look different and this is no secret. Even a change of weather can have an effect of one’s skin.
I want to use this platform to assure all persons who have expressed worry about these reports that there is no cause for alarm because I am not bleaching, have not bleached and would not bleach.
There are more prudent and beneficial things to focus on and these frequent distractions are of no use.
I should have spent this time focusing on my new movies or memorizing my next script and not responding to false gossips.

It’s been almost two month when a disabled Nigerian was arrested inside Teshie 1st Junction after he used Van Vicker’s ID to fraud a white lady. According to an eye witness, the physically challenge ‘Anago’ man screamed after almost succeeding in frauding a white lady. Lack eluded him when National security personnel who were sitting besides him in the café caused his arrest.
