'I took just as much cocaine as Whitney, it's a miracle I am not dead': Elton John's

Elton John has revealed he took so much cocaine it's a 'miracle' he didn't end up dying an addict, like Whitney Houston.

As the 65-year-old confessed if he hadn't kicked his drug habit in 1990 he would be dead, rumours began circulating that the singer and husband David Furnish could be having another child.

'I'd probably be dead,' he declared. 'I didn't want to end up like Whitney Houston and I could so easily have ended up like her.'

'It's a miracle I didn't because I'm sure I did as much cocaine as she ever did.'

Elton's revelations come just six weeks after Whitney was found dead in the bathroom of her Beverly Hills hotel room aged just 48.

Last week, a newly released toxicology report showed she had cocaine in her system when she died.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner said the tests revealed she had been a 'chronic user'.

Elton, who married partner David Furnish in 2005, has always been open about his battle with drugs and alcohol.

Rumours began circulating online that the pair are having a second child, they already have one-year-old Zachary, but these are currently unconfirmed.

A source told the Daily Mirror: ‘The wheels are in motion. David and Elton have never hidden their desire to extend their family, and believe the time is right for another child.

‘By the end of this year, or the beginning of next year, there will be a fourth member of the John-Furnish clan.'

The 'Tiny Dancer' singer has previously described his old self as a 'real mess' and said getting sober and clean in 1990 was his 'greatest achievement in life'.

Yesterday during a US television interview, he said his life could have taken a different turn if he hadn't overcome his addictions.

'I would not be the person I am today. I wouldn't have Zachary, I wouldn't have David, I wouldn't have anything,' he said.

Elton also opened up about how he suffered at the hands of bullies as an adult, and revealed he was the target of physical and mental abuse.

Whitney Houston and Jermaine Jackson have they had an affair?

The tragic and shocking Whitney Houston last month has left more than one question unanswered.

One of the most intriguing, however, continues to perpetuate and spread: the pop star she had an affair with Jermaine Jackson ?

The rumors that Houston had an affair with the star of the Jackson 5 in the mid-80s, when he was still married, and now, Jackson's sister, La Toya , entered the fray

During an interview on the show mid-day The Talk , La Toya said: "He admitted they had had an affair".

An article in The Sun provides us with even more juicy details.

The article states that they have remained a year together, and that the tube of Houston "Saving All My Love for You" - which is about a woman having an affair with a married man - was a ballad on this thinly disguised clandestine lover.

Michael Jackson was aware of the link and did not like. At the time, Jermaine was married to Hazel Gordy , daughter of the legendary founder of Motown, Berry Gordy .

On the death of Houston, a video which shows the couple sing a duet in 1984 has surfaced, which - according to the article Sun - took place at the time of their little fling.

Jermaine has caused a mini-scandal two weeks ago when he pulled out a press release announcing that he had dedicated his song "The First Time You Love" to the pop star died, saying it was sent without his consent .

But this is a matter of time before the fans start to get the message behind this title.

Whitney Houston as a happy and hopeful teen model before the fame that led to her tragic demise(PHOTOS)

While the last images of Whitney Houston alive depicted a troubled and worse for wear star, photographs uncovered from the days before her fame tell a very different story.

She may be remembered for her beautiful singing voice, but Houston, who died on February 11 aged 48, in fact began her career as a model.

Images of the star modelling for Seventeen Magazine in 1981 show a fresh-faced and hopeful young girl who had her whole life ahead of her.

The beautiful youngster, who was 18 at the time, can be seen smiling as she looks out to sea in a fuchsia swimsuit, while another photograph shows her running along the edge of the water in a pink and white striped romper suit.

Two of the shots show her sporting a red one-piece along with a snorkelling mask as she carries flippers before heading out into the surf with her fellow models.

Another image sees the angelic-faced teen sat on the edge of a sunbed while wearing a red dress as she throws her head back in laughter.

Whitney Houston dead: Bobby Brown breaks down in tears upon hearing news

Bobby Brown, the faded boy band star who spent 15 tumultuous years married to Whitney Houston, broke down in tears Saturday night upon hearing of the platinum-selling diva’s death.

“I love you, Whitney,” Brown said as he prepared to perform in Southaven, Miss. “The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage.”

Brown, who had been accused of domestic abuse against the iconic performer, was on a reunion tour of New Edition and began calling relatives as he found out about the death, People magazine reported.

“He could hardly get the words out when he called me,” a relative told the magazine. “He was sobbing, and by the end of the call, I was sobbing, too. He’s beside himself right now.”

Is Whitney Houston broke?

Singer Whitney Houston is reportedly broke after blowing up her USD 100 million record deal.

The six time Grammy winner, who went through rehab to overcome her drug addiction, is being supported by her label after she spent all her fortune including the deal money, Radar Online claimed.

"Whitney's fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released," a source told the portal.

"She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke," the source added.

Houston is believed to be in such a dire financial position she has even had to resort to contacting friends for small loans.

A spokesperson for the singer has denied such claims.

"That is ridiculous and not true! She stars in Sparkle out in August which she also Exec produced. She just wrapped the film," the spokesperson told Daily Mail.

Whitney Houston is 'almost thrown off plane for diva behaviour

She has previously been voted the greatest diva of all time. And it seems Whitney Houston is not losing any of the prima donna qualities that scooped her the title, after she was allegedly almost thrown off an airplane due to her boorish behaviour yesterday.

According to celebrity website TMZ sources, the 48-year-old was nearly ejected from the Delta Airlines flight in Atlanta after refusing to fasten her seatbelt, despite being asked by a steward. Another crew member then came over and warned the I WIll Always Love You singer that if she did not buckle up she would have to be kicked off.

She eventually relented, although she left it to a steward to fasten her up, and the plane was then cleared for takeoff. Sources close to the singer told TMZ she 'overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie.'

Whitney has been struggling since 2009 to make a comeback after years away from the spotlight due to drug addiction. However many critics say the quality of her voice has been affected by the abuse. In an interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Whitney admitted she used to take cocaine with marijuana.

She also admitted her drug use became 'heavy' after the 1992 film The Bodyguard, Whitney said: 'You put your marijuana, you lace it, you roll it up and you smoke it... it’s like heroin and cocaine speedballing, but you level it off, with marijuana.' Whitney finally conquered her demons five years ago when she checked into rehab with the support of her mother Cissy Houston and Clive.

She then found the courage to leave ex-husband Bobby Brown, with whom she shared a rocky relationship. However she has struggled to thrill fans during her comeback Nothing But Love tour, and last year many fans demanded refunds after seeing her shows, claiming she was 'wheezing' her way through songs.
