Beyonce pens love letter to Michelle Obama

There might not be much love lost between President Obama and Kanye West. But it's a whole different story when it comes to his wife Michelle and another musical icon, Beyonce. 

The "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" songbird published a hand-written mash note to the First Lady on her Tumblr page (via Politico) recently, calling Obama "the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman.

 "She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the FIRST LADY!!!!!," Beyonce's gush-fest continued. "No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope - she's humble, loving and sincere." 

The singer wrapped up the missive by calling Obama a role model for her daughter, Blue Ivy. "Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us -- I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to." The singer and the First Couple have something of a history together. Beyonce performed the Etta James staple "At Last" for the Obamas at the Neighborhood Ball on inauguration night in 2009, and performed at the White House State Dinner that hosted Mexico's president Felipe Calderon in 2010.

How ridiculous is this report..Beyonce maybe carrying around a doll?

So according to Mediatakeout.com, Beyonce maybe carrying around a fake baby. Seriously MTO?

MediaTakeOut.com has been doing some digging...and we just uncovered some shocking evidence...and it suggest that Beyonce may be carrying around a fake baby - possible as a decoy against paparazzi.

MediaTakeOut.com was first tipped off by dozens of readers who claimed that Bey's new 2 month old baby looked strange in recent pics...and they suspected that Bey might be carrying around a doll - instead of a 2 month old baby.

Kinda ridiculous, don't you think?

Well MedaTakeOut.com did an investigation - and our findings were STARTLING!!! We looked at photos of Blue taken about a WEEK AND A HALF in New York - and compared them with images taken two days ago.

In the photos, Baby Blue grew in height about 11%. To put that in perspective, if Blue was the AVERAGE HEIGHT two weeks ago (according to the WTO growth charts) she would have been 22 inches tall. In less than 2 WEEKS, Blue would have grown at LEAST 2.5 inches - making her the size of the average FOUR MONTH OLD. A growth rate like that is almost UNHEARD OF!!!

Katy Perry disses Beyonce's duet with Shakira as she talks about upcoming Rihanna collaboration

After singing a cover of a Jay-Z track Katy Perry took an apparent swipe at his wife Beyonce.

The California Gurl singer was talking about her upcoming collaboration with Rihanna - saying she wanted their track to be 'iconic'.

Katy then went on to cite Beyonce and Shakira's 2007 song Beautiful Liar - suggesting it would not stand the test of time.

After performing a cover of Jay-Z and Kanye West's song N**gas in Paris on the UK's Radio 1, Katy explained how she and Rihanna 'collaborate on a lot of things, just not songs yet' adding, 'we have a great friendship'.

Referring to their upcoming collaboration she said: 'Its' one of those things where it's gotten so much build up that if we don't' deliver, like, the best song... We're both busy, but we planted a seed two years ago, we're just looking for that special one.

'How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it wasn't that good? So sometimes you have to wait for greatness.'

Katy explained she would like the track to be iconic and empowering, rather than s*xy, like Shakira and Beyonce's Beautiful Liar.

She added: 'I was telling her, you know the Eurythmics song featuring Aretha Franklin, Sisters are Doing it for Themselves... That's like the kind of song which I'd like to do, rather than Beautiful Liar'.

She then attempted to backtrack, adding: 'Although that is still a great song... I loved that but I definitely want to do something which is iconic.'

Earlier, Katy performed a rendition of the controversial track N**gas in Paris during a Live Lounge session on the BBC radio show.

But instead of singing the track word for word, Katy ensured she changed the lyrics to 'Ninjas in Paris' for the mid-morning appearance.

As she geared up for the show, hosted by Fearne Cotton, the singer was clearly excited and warned her online devotees on Twitter she would be showing off a different side to herself.

She wrote: 'ISH is gonna get CRAY on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge starting @ 10am w/ @fearnecotton! Gonna show u a different side...I start singing @ 12!'

But while she's usually altering her image to cause more attention and controversy, this time she opted for more of a good girl one.

And the 27-year-old enjoyed the session so much, she wrote to Fearne afterwards: 'That was so fun. Can we do it again soon? #radio1livelounge #livinglive.'

Beyonce's 1st show since baby set for May in NJ

Beyoncé is set to return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy.

The Grammy winner will perform three concerts in New Jersey in May at Atlantic City's Revel Resorts. Revel said Monday that the shows will be held over Memorial Day weekend for the premiere of the $2.4 billion resort.

Beyoncé gave birth to her first child in January. She is married to rapper Jay-Z.

Tickets for the May 25 through May 27 concerts go on sale April 6. Beyoncé will perform in the Ovation Hall, which has 5,050 seats.

The singer released her fourth album, the platinum-seller "4," in June.

Beyonce spotted feeding newborn Blue Ivy in public

She has been spotted enjoying some quality time with her baby as she stepped out in public with Blue Ivy for the first time over the weekend.

And as Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z enjoyed lunch in New York City for the little one's first public outing, the superstar singer br*astfed her daughter, according to Us Weekly.

The magazine reports that the 30-year-old was observed feeding baby Blue, who is eight weeks old, as the family dined at Saint Ambroeus cafe and espresso bar in the West Village.

Two further sources have allegedly confirmed to the publication that the star is br*astfeeding her daughter.

Beyoncé was seen protectively wrapping her arms around the infant as they departed the lunch spot.

Blue Ivy was wrapped in a black baby blanket, with what appeared to be a black scarf covering her face.

As well as Jay-Z, Beyoncé was accompanied by a team of bodyguards who kept close watch over the family as they emerged from the cafe.

Eyewitnesses say the new mother wasn't feeling well and the family left after only 30 minutes.

The next day Beyoncé and her daughter enjoyed another stroll around Manhattan.

The scene set was similar to the day before with the singer wearing the exact same attire of leather trousers, a navy blue parker jacket and high top boots.

Jayz and Beyance Five-day-old Blue Ivy cracks Billboard charts

She's just five days old, and Jay-Z and Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy is already making a name for herself in the music industry as the youngest person ever to debut on the Billboard music charts.

Shortly after his infant was born at New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital Saturday, Jay-Z, 42, headed into the recording studio to put his emotions into song with the new track "Glory." In the song — which features the proud papa rapping about "the most amazing feeling".

Beyonce is Pregnant!!!

The singer confirmed her pregnancy on at yesterday's MTV Video Music Award's red carpet. She held her belly as she arrived Awards Sunday wearing a long, red dress, and told photographers - "I have a surprise!"
