Monalisa Chinda calls Lanre Nzeribe -just a friend

It is not pleasing to fans when celebrities don't own up a relationship even if the commitment is not very strong or its not leading to the alter. The relationship between Lanre and Monalisa is almost one year and if after all the time, she can still refer to him as just a friend, it means people should take their eyes off these two and deal with other serious people who are open and want to pass a better message to their fans.

In a new interview with Sunday Punch, actress Monalisa Chinda described her boo and business partner of over two years as 'just a friend' 

"That is a personal decision. Some things are private - they are not meant to be discussed on the pages of newspapers. Lanre Nzeribe is only a friend and I won’t say more than that." She tells Punch

This is really bad, she launched her magazine not to long ago and now everything seems to be falling apart, very awful thing to hear, very bad and yes a I'm a fan. 

Even though people are yet to get over Kelvin Keshi’s resignation from Monalisa Chinda’s Fashion and Style Magazine, her new editor who took over when Kelvin left has also resigned. It’s believed that Estella Ogbonna left when the magazine publisher couldn't keep to her own part of the agreement. Estella resumed office just two months ago.

Popular Nolllywood Actress Visits Kirikiri Prison (PHOTOS)

  

To be honest I like what I see nowadays in the entertainment industry, everyone's trying to give back to the community, back to the people who support their movies, its truly a really nice thing.

 Nollywood star Monalisa Chinda visited the Kirikiri Prison, Apapa, Lagos for a charity visit which lasted for several hours.

Looking really nice for the visit, Mona rocked a pale chiffon button-up blouse, grey pants and a pair of Unclad strap platforms. Wavy dark locks, chic dark shades, silver drop earrings and a gold cocktail ring completed the look.

Monalisa donated lots of items including food stuff, clothes, underwear, toiletries, perfume bottles and sanitary provisions, through her Arise Monalisa Foundation.

She also took time to interact and encourage the prison inmates who were happy to receive her.

Speaking to the inmates on the visit, she said “Though we may not be in control of what happens to us in life, we are absolutely responsible for our reactions to what happens to us. And it is our reaction that ultimately determines the results and quality of our lives. On getting here today, I was told some inmates were recently released by strange interventions, so this can’t be the end for you.”

As some prisoners wept, Mona further said “I want you to know that there is more to your life than your present state and, no matter what anyone has said to you, there is hope for you.”.

According to her rep, the inmates were not allowed to be photographed, but they had a great time bonding with the actress.
