Even in the midst of tears,the entire Obiozor family still has a reason to glorify the Almighty God over what has been termed a re-incarnation of their only son,Obiajulu,a.k.a MC Loph,who lost his life in an auto crash, alongside his only sister,Chinwe,on September 14 2011,on their way to the East for the crooner’s wedding ceremony.
Also in the SUV conveying them,which the prolific rapper was driving himself,was his wife-to-be,Nkiru,who at the time was pregnant,but incidentally was the only survivor of the accident.
Until she finally put to bed,friends and close family members kept praying non-stop,wishing her a safe delivery. Nkiru,on Friday,March 23,2012,was delivered of a bouncing baby boy.But while celebrations are still going on,we learnt that some close friends of Loph had abandoned both his mother and widow.
According to the close family source who would not want to be quoted,MC Loph’s death has taught me a great lesson.While he was alive,he was known to be a very kind-hearted person. He housed some of these friends until they finally got a place of their own.But today,he is no more,leaving behind an aged mother and his wife who just delivered,and do you know what? Some of these people are yet to pay neither his mum nor his wife a visit.
The source maintained that during Loph’s burial,some of his friends were also nowhere to be found,and that almost all the expenses for the burial were taken care of by Emeka Morgan Oguejiofor,the CEO of Morgan Entertainment,the label that just signed a recording contract with the singer before his death. In our bid to get to the root of this matter,we put a call through to Loph’s mum,Mrs. Obiozor.She could not hold back tears as she narrated her many travails ever since she lost her only two children.

With a heart obviously full of pains,she replied. My son, I have mixed feelings about this baby.As much as I am happy that Loph finally got a son,on the other hand, I weep over the demise of my son.
This wasn’t how we discussed it.He never told me he was going to die,but today death has snatched him away from me.
He couldn’t live to witness the birth of his child and to worsen matters,his only sister too died with him.It’s a very heavy blow that will linger in my heart forever.
She also confirmed that with the exception of Nigga Raw,Obi Madubuogwu,who are always around her;Don T who also visited like once or twice,none of the late MC Loph’s friends had been seen around,since he died.
Asked some of the things she still misses about her children,she stated that she definitely misses eveything about them,as they had been her pillar,ever since she lost her husband years ago.
As for Obiajulu,he appreciated me as his mum.He used to be very stubborn while growing up,which caused me a lot of stress, but what will I do? He was my son.
I had to always make sure he was happy, even when he offended me and I’m annoyed with him.
Prior to his death, the late Loph had recorded a song in his second album, Hands Up, in honor of his mother.
The track titled Mama,featured Flavour N’abania and was an anthem.
When asked about arrangement for the child’s dedication and naming ceremony, she declined, saying that it is left for the family to decide.
However, that in due course, the public will be informed.
Rapper MC Loph found his way to fame after the release of his remix of Osita Osadebe’s Osondi Owendi,which featured Flavour and was released under Eastside Records.
He was working on another album before he met his untimely death.
