Top celebs are already gearing up to know the recipients of 2014 AMVCA awards. In a dinner organised by African Magic for the events, celebs are already having fun. From the pictures coming to us, our celebs are all expectant . The nominations for the second edition of the 2014 AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Awards will be announced in a two-pronged event today in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria. The award was first launched in September 2012.
The nominees, from the best and brightest in African film and television, will be unveiled at the grand nomination ceremony to coincide with AfricaMagic’s 10th Anniversary celebration.
Joining the AfricaMagic family on stage to reveal the nominations and add colour to the event are some of the big names in Africa’s TV and film.
The nomination announcement will be hosted by presenters, Vimbai Mutinhiri and Lawrence Maleka in a live broadcast.

Joining them on stage will be AfricaMagic Jara presenters, Helen Paul and Uti Nwachukwu
The judging panel, which convened in Johannesburg, South Africa to lend its expertise to the nominations process, was led by film maker and documentary veteran, Femi Odugbemi.
Odugbemi in a media session explained the level of professionalism and dedication the judging panel exhibited through out the process.
