In a recent interview with a popular tabloid, Ubi Franklin, Iyanya's manager revealed details about the party.
According to him, he was the brain behind the raunchy birthday cake and party which he claimed cost $19,000 (N3million).

Wasteful spending on insignificant event that has no milestone attached to it. Nyanya and his handlers are dealing devastating blows on his brand and it is a journey to self destruction. No sensible and decent parents will want their wards to make him their role model, given his notoriety for sex and no ycomportment to make it a sacred thing.

Another angle to the wasteful spending is that, it is more convenient for some of these so-called celebrities (artistes, musicians etc) to spend on frivolities rather than help some of their ilks when they are down with any kind of ailment. They will resort to beg Nigerians to come to their aids.
