Michael Jackson's son Prince has taken to Twitter accusing family members of refusing him access to his grandmother Katherine Jackson during the matriarch's days-long absence from their California home.
The 15-year-old posted a photo of what he said was a group text message involving his aunts Rebbie and Janet Jackson, in which he demanded contact with his grandmother and Janet allegedly responded:
'Please don't let them.'
The screen grab, which has since been deleted from his account, showed the conversation occurred on Monday afternoon, two days before a judge temporarily revoked Katherine Jackson's guardianship after she was prevented from fulfilling her role through the 'intentional acts of third parties'.
In a lengthier post which has also been deleted, Prince Jackson explained: 'As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt.
He continues: 'The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother,' he writes, adding, '"If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth"'.
