Actor Lane Garrison has been released from jail following a two-month stint for allegedly striking his ex-girlfriend.
The former Prison Break star, who has pleaded not guilty in the case, has posted $50,000 bail.
The 32-year-old actor was arrested on April 22, accused of hitting former Playmate Ashley Mattingly during an explosive argument in Beverly Hills.
Garrison's attorney, Harland Braun, previously said his client was simply trying to grab his cell phone which Ashley allegedly 'snatched' from him.
Garrison, who pleaded guilty in 2007 to vehicular manslaughter after a fatal car crash, was initially held without bail because he is currently on a parole hold for a 2007 vehicular manslaughter conviction.
If he ends up being found guilty of domestic violence, he could face a year in jail.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney filed the charge following the emergence of surveillance video that appears to show Garrison slapping Mattingly in the face at her Beverly Hills apartment, one day before his arrest.
Happier times: Lane and Ashley Mattingly appeared in February 2012
TMZ obtained a copy of the security video from Saturday, which tape shows the former Prison Break star sitting outside Mattingly's Beverly Hills apartment building waiting for her to arrive home.
As Mattingly drives into the building's garage, the footage shows Garrison running after her.
They are then seen walking into the building together, 'clearly arguing as they get into an elevator.'
According to TMZ, things 'get physical' when Mattingly gets out of the elevator.
The footage shows Garrison grabbing Mattingly's arm with his hand and then seeming to slap her face with the other hand.
But Garrison is said to have told police that Ashley had grabbed his cell phone and the video actually shows him reaching to grab his phone back.
There are a few more seconds of struggling before the actor runs out of the building.
The website alleges that Garrison, threw his ex-girlfriend's mobile phone into the street and then left the premises.
Garrison is scheduled for a July 11 court hearing in the domestic violence case.
