Whitney’s daughter wants to change her name

Whitney Houston’s grieving daughter, Bobbi Kristina, wants to change her name to break apart from her father, according to TMZ.com.

The 19-year-old, who will reportedly inherit her mother’s entire estate, is said to be upset with her father, singer Bobby Brown, who walked out of Whitney Houston’s funeral last month over a dispute over seating arrangements.

She wants to be known simply as “Kristina Houston,” TMZ says.

Bobbi Kristina is telling friends … she’s wanted to change her name for years — ever since her parents split — but Whitney wouldn’t let her.

The teen has grown up watching her famous parents battle addictions, but despite reports of her own similar struggles, TMZ says Bobbi Kristina “is in a ‘better place’ than she’s been in a while.”
