Singer Whitney Houston's body was found in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room, Los Angeles County Chief Coroner Ed Winter said in a press conference Sunday.
He would not comment on reporters' questions about whether the water was still running or confirm reports that prescription drug bottles were found in the room, and said further information about the 48-year-old singer's autopsy was on a security lockdown enforced in high-profile deaths.
The autopsy has been completed, but results are held pending toxicology reports, which could take 6-8 weeks. "At this time, there's no signs of foul play," Winter said. There were also no visible signs of trauma, he said.
Earlier Sunday, Bobbi Kristina Brown, 18, the only daughter of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was released from the hospital after having been rushed there by ambulance.
Brown had been taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Sunday morning, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
CBSNews.com published a photo of Brown being taken out of the Beverly Hills Hilton on a stretcher. CBS reports that the Beverly Hills police department said Brown was treated for anxiety at the scene.
Father Bobby Brown is reportedly skipping a scheduled Sunday concert in Nashville with his former band, New Edition, to fly to L.A. to comfort his daughter, TMZ reports. Brown, went on with a concert held Saturday night in Mississippi, but broke down on stage, at one point shouting "I love you Whitney!" and blowing a kiss to the sky, Us Weekly reports.
Her mother, the acclaimed singer, had been staying at the hotel before a pre-Grammy party Saturday night, and Brown was reportedly staying there also.
Brown and Houston wed in 1992, and Bobbi Kristina was born in 1993. The couple divorced in 2007.
Bobbi Kristina has sung publicly with her mother, and is reportedly an aspiring actress and musician. Jawn Murray, who has interviewed Houston many times, told FoxNews.com that mother and daughter had a close relationship, much like that of Whitney Houston and her own mother, Grammy-winning singer Cissy Houston.
"Whitney loved her daughter," Murray told the site. "Bobbi Kristina was her only child and her pride and joy."
