SINGER Jason Derulo has cancelled his world tour, including the Australian dates in April, after fracturing his neck.
The 22-year-old was practising an acrobatic move when he fell and landed on his head, said a statement released by his Australian tour promoter Michael Coppel Presents.
He was taken to a Miami hospital where doctors told him he could have been paralysed by the accident.
He's since been released from hospital but must wear a neck brace for the next few months.
His world tour had been due to start in Glasgow on February 23.
"To all my fans who planned to come to the Future History world tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained," Derulo said in the statement.
"My fans mean everything to me so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future."
Derulo posted a photo of himself lying down and wearing a neck brace on Twitter.com.
"I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain?" he wrote.
Refunds will be available to all ticket holders for the Australian shows.
