Last week notable Nollywood movie director Ugezu J. Ugezu told NEWSMEN: “I ordered a girl out of my audition because she had a tattoo of an erect penis on her lap.”
When we asked the outspoken film maker what his opinion about tattoo really is, he says:
It’s not my opinion about it that matter. It’s what the Bible said about it. The Bible condemns tattoo and piercing, and that is the point. I will not stop anybody from doing that, but I’ll always advice people against it, and besides, it will not add any value to their lives.
So many of them are using Nollywood actress Tonto Dike as an example, but they do not know that her tattoo is owned by a company, she is receiving payment every year for that tattoo.
Tattoo will not make you a better actor, it’s either you are a good actor or you are not. So I do not see the reasons for that.
