Following an order by Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court to National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to produce Babatunde Omidina also known as Baba Suwe on Wednesday 26 October, the Agency today produced the comedian suspected of drug trafficking to the court premises.The order was granted following an ex-parte motion filed by the actor's counsel, Mr Bamidele Aturu.
Justice Idowu, after the hearing granted bail to the comedian in the sum of 500,000 naira but insisted it will take effect from the 4th of November 2011.
The existing order ends on 4th November 2011 and will immediately give way to the just delivered judgement to take effect immediately.
