Michael Jackson's kids focus on fun at amusement park as bizarre details of singer's death emerge in Conrad Murray trial

Michael Jackson's children took their mind off the Conrad Murray trial with a visit to an amusement park in Germany yesterday.

Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, nine, focused on fun as they checked out the daredevil rides on offer at Phantasialand in Brühl with their cousins Jaafar and Jermajesty, who are the sons of Jermaine Jackson.

The family are in Europe to attend their late father's tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales, this weekend. Jamie Fox will co-host the event with Fearne Cotton. The group cited 'unavoidable circumstances' as its reason for pulling out.

Meanwhile, Murray's trial rolls on in Los Angeles and prosecutors are today expected to play a police interview conducted with the doctor. In it, Dr. Conrad Murray lays out his version of events in the final hours of the singer's life. It details his treatments on Jackson, including his administration of the anesthetic propofol.

The more-than two hour interview has never been played in public before, nor has a transcript of its contents been released. Court transcripts state prosecutors will call a Los Angeles police detective to introduce the interview, which was conducted two days after Jackson's June 25, 2009 death. Yesterday it emerged that a porcelain doll the size of a child was found lying in the singer's bed a few hours after he died.

A picture of the toy – with its green dungarees, rouged cheeks and blonde curly hair – was shown to the jury at the trial of the star’s personal doctor. It was discovered on top of the covers after the King of Pop collapsed in the bedroom of his Los Angeles mansion.

The photograph was taken by coroner’s officers who searched the house hours after he died. The court also saw a police photograph of ornate dinner plates with babies’ faces – thought to be Jackson’s children – displayed on a chest of drawers along with family snaps of Prince, Paris and Blanket.
