And now Madonna appears to be longing to recreate her infamous on-stage kiss with Britney Spears.
The Material Girl invited the Toxic singer via Twitter to share another intimate smooch like the one at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
Britney had been congratulating Madonna on her new album MDNA which helped her set a new record for the most number one albums by a solo artist.
The younger star wrote: 'Love the new album - every single song is incredible. congrats girl!'
Madge replied: 'Please come on stage and kiss me again.
I miss you!!' to which Britney said: 'Tempting...'
Madonna then asked her: 'Are you gonna make me work for this?' and she said:
'Why of course!'
It has also been revealed that Madonna threw cake in her manager's face at a surprise party he held for her yesterday.
The Girls Gone Wild singer was treated to the unannounced bash to celebrate the success of her new album and after the initial surprise her entourage looked on as she cut a piece of cake and smeared it into Guy Oseary's face.
