While rumors were previously spreading with news that Rihanna may be getting her feet wet with an upcoming acting gig in the Battleship movie, that has been confirmed ten times over with the release of a sneak peek teaser trailer featuring the work-a-holic Barbados native.
While Ri denied her role in the Bodyguard remake, a more strenuous role outside of her normal character was more of what she had in mind.
Now Rihanna has been spotted playing her hardcore navy role in the upcoming “Battleship” movie. Filled with sci-fi and tons of people vs. aliens shoot-em up action, Rihanna took pride in taking part in all of her stunts and really soaking up the acting role.
In preparations for the May 2012 release, Battleship is chock full of amazing actors including Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker and Josh Pence. Now Ms. Robyn Fenty will have her name in the credits and as you can see in the two minute sneak preview trailer below, her beauty can’t be hidden by a uniform and a hat.
