Curtis "50cent" Jackson's new movie title has been changed from "Things fall apart' to "All things fall apart" The change was made by the company distributing the film - Image Entertainment to simply avoid any form of clash with professor Chinua Achebe's well known piece of literature "Things fall apart".
It is reported that it is to avert the confusion upon seeing the original title of the film, and confusing it as an adaptation of Achebe’s novel, which isn’t at all the case. 'Things fall apart' is a story of star college football player battling cancer starring 50 cent and directed by Mario Van Peebles .
The movie has just been added to the 15th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival, presented by BET Networks .
The film joins a diverse slate of nearly 60 films that will be featured at the New York-based festival from September 14-18, 2011 at AMC 34th Street in midtown Manhattan. The screening of "All Things Fall Apart" takes place Friday, September 16.
