Don't we all just love Actress Dakore Akande when she steps out. She looks lovely in anything she wears, whether expensive or just simple. In the above picture she rocks a  Tie and Dye jumpsuit and a jacket to Oju Africa Launch Yesterday. I love her hair style, necklace, shoe and infact everything she wore to the event.

 Most times i think if not that she took a break from Nollywood when she got married to the wealthy Akande family, she would have given Genny and Omotola a good run for their money as the queen of Nollywood. Netherless, she is highly respected and recognized as a great actress.

Nollywood Actress Pregnant With Second Child

Nollywood actress Dakore Akande Egbuson, who delivered a baby girl in October 2011, is set to visit the labour room very soon.

The beautiful mother of one is currently pregnant with her second child.

She was spotted alongsides her husband at the Nollywood awards 2013 ceremony on Saturday with a big baby bump.

Dakore Akande and comedian Basketmouth were the host of the 2nd annual edition of the nollywood movies awards that held at the intercontinental hotel in Victoria island Lagos on Saturday October 12th, 2013. Congrats to the couple!

Dakore Egbuson Akande returns to acting

The talented actress who hasn't featured in any movie since her marriage in 2011 has finally returned to acting. Dakore Akande will feature in a new movie written and directed by singer/actress Ashionye Michelle Raccah titled 'Journey to Self'. 

 The movie also features Nse Ikpe-Etim, Ashionye Michelle Raccah, Katherine Obiang Edoho and Tosin Sido in lead roles. Other features include Carol King, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Brainard, Femi Jacobs and Chris Attoh, with the directorial talents of Tope Oshin Ogun. 'Journey to Self' was 13months in the making from inception. 

It is an intense story of friendship, sacrifice, empowerment and self-respect'. It is about four friends, Nse (Nse Ikpe-Etim), Regina (Ashionye Michelle Raccah), Alex (Dakore Akande) and Rume (Katherine Obiang Edoho) who lose a mutual childhood friend, Uche (Tosin Sido). Uche speaks through a series of letters stirring her friends to a journey of self discovery... a 'Journey to Self'.

STAR ACTRESS DAKORE AKANDE EGBUSON INCHES CLOSE TO DELIVERY

Little or nothing has been heard about out-of-sight Nollywood actress Dakore Akande (nee Egbuson) since the news of her pregnancy broke out in April this year.

Anonymous source revealed her pregnancy is now at an advanced stage and she has relocated to her hubby’s base in Chicago, United States for top class attention. 

The couple is excitedly waiting for the arrival of the bundle of joy, while the grandfather-to-be, business mogul and politician, Chief Harry Akande has penciled down a private jet to convey him out of the country as soon as the baby arrives,” the source said.

Since her wedding to Olumide, in January this year, Dakore has not featured in any movie. It was said to be one of the conditions her father-in-law gave her before marrying his only child that she quit the profession that brought her fame, money, and respect.
