D,Banj, Don Jazzy Rift Gets Messier

The rumour about a crack in the 9-year relationship between D'Banj and Don Jazzy is getting messy as the days roll by.

The latest twist in the rumoured split between Don Jazzy and D'Banj is the new released official video of the hit track, Oliver Twist.

According to confirmed reports from those who have seen the video, Don Jazzy was not seen throughout the in the video. The video, which premiered only on MTV Base on March 17, at 00:00 Nigerian time, only had cameo appearance made by Kanye West.

You will recall that it was this video shoot Newsmen broke the story of during the fuel protest saga, which got D'Banj being attacked by fans for allegedly being insensitive to their struggle.

Both D'Banj and Don Jazzy earlier did a fun video of Oliver Twist, which they also made open to fans in a competition late last year. The mock-video had members of Mohits danced to the song.

Contrary to report making the round that Dapo Oyebanji a.k.a Dbanj was arrested in New York for smuggling substance suspected to be Cocaine,the C.E.O of Mo’Hits Records, Don Jazzy has debunked the rumor.

Don Jazzy tweeted about it, laughing at the report which he tagged baseless and unfounded. He disclosed that Dbanj was never in New York at the time the incident reportedly happened. 

Rather D'banj was on his way from Ghana to Lagos, so how come Dbanj was arrested, could it have been that he needed a transit visa from New York before he can come from Accra to Lagos? he queried. Nigerian popular music sensation Dapo Oyebanji a.k.a D’Banj and CEO of MO’Hits Micheal Eneili a.k.a Don Jazzy, have been arrested by local authorities in the United States for alleged drug trafficking. According to our sources they were apprehended last night after the F.B.I received an anonymous tip that the Nigerian duo were arriving the JFK airport “loaded”.

About 100 kilos of substance suspected to be cocaine was recovered from their luggage and the Nigerians are currently being detained by the F.B.I pending further investigations and subsequent court hearing. This comes as a big blow for G.O.O.D Music, who just recently, signed the multi- talented duo. Kanye West Performs at Mo'Hits Koko Koncert In the UK

During the Mo'Hits Koko Koncert, which took place yesterday night at Hammersmith Apollo Music Arena, D'Banj surprised the crowd at the event by bringing out Kanye West on stage.

 The rapper was there to support his newly signed artist and producer. Kanye's appearance at Koko Koncert was just a few hours after performing with Jay Z at the VMAs.
