 If you still remember the stage dance Eedris Abdulakareem and Cossy  Orjiakor  danced  on stage a while ago, Good, but if you cant, well take my word for it 'it was a hell of a dance'.  

Apparently, after the dance, Eedris, who is only human, couldn't hold it and he asked Cossy to let them finish up the business in a small dark room backstage. But she refused.

 According to her, Eedris went down on his kneels and started begging her, but she remained adamant, please don't blame Eedris, that dance would make any man beg for the real show.

I Will Slap Wizkid!, Yes, Eedris Is Why D'Banj, P-Square Get Paid Today--Don Jazzy

Just days ago, news went viral about controversial rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem claiming to be the reason artistes like D'Banj, P-Square and others were getting paid today. 

 This statement has highly been reacted to by many, who have had mixed feelings and reactions to it, believed it was uncalled for by the Kennis Music artiste to have said such. 

Some felt it was just a publicity stunt by Eedris to remain relevant in the news. Reacting to Eedris' statement was Don Jazzy. The Mavin Records boss tweeted, "But I won't put it exactly like that.

 I think what he (Eedris) meant was [that] guys like him, our father 2baba, Tetuila, Eldee etc inspired us to join the game (music industry). "So, if they didn't inspire us to join the game, we won't be getting paid. True, baba (Eedris) tuale. I used to mime 'Shako Mo', 'Belinda' and 'Omode Meta Sere' [while] in secondary school. So, baba (Eedris) has the right to yarn (talk) anything o." 

 However, Don baba J, as the multiple award-winning music producer is fondly called did a joke on Wizkid when jokingly tweeted afterwards on being respected by Wizkid as he has done to 2Face, Eedris and others.

 He tweeted, "that been said, 'oya', Wizkid, anyday you don't 'tuale for me', when I see you 'ehnnnnn', I go 'wozzzzzzz (slap)' you 22 slaps. lol."

 So, a message for Wizkid, the next time you see Don Jazzy, quickly 'tuale' him before you get 22 slaps from Don Jazzy's flat, broad and soft palms.

Why Is Eedris Abdulkareem So Rude To Call Obasanjo ""Mugu""?

In recent times, some Nigerian musicians have been constituting themselves into nuisances to the people and government of Nigeria. Most of them don't sing to uplift lives but to promote crime and hatred. 

 Among the pack one person takes the lead and he is Eedris Abdulkareem. From our observation here on NEWSMEN, Eedris is too rude and unreasonable in his approach to issues.

When a Kennis Music artiste, KSB condemned Don Jazzy and Wande Coal recently for displaying too much n*dity in a music video, one had thought that she was leading a positive crusade that she had first won in her own home, Kennis Music.

 But the statement credited to Eedris while reacting to criticism by former President Olusegun Obasanjo of his controversial track, Nigeria Jaga Jaga, has shown that KSB's charity did not begin at home. For Eedris to call Obasanjo a "mugu" is the highest level of irresponsibility.

 A man that is old enough to be your grand father and a two-time number one citizen of this country should be respected rather than called names, for whatever reason. Kennis Music and PMAN should please call Eedris to order and, if possible, reprimand him.

Eedris Abdulkareem Replies Former President Obasanjo (A MUST READ)

A few days ago, former president Olusegun Obasanjo while speaking on some burning national issues made reference to Kennis music act, Eedris Abdulkareem’s song “jaga jaga.” 

This is the second time the ex-ruler will be making reference to the singer over the same song title.

 If you recollect, the song was released when Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was still president of Nigeria and now, five years after he left the seat of power, the two are still engaged in a war of words and wits. 

According to Obasanjo, ‘One of the worst problems Nigeria is facing is disbelief. Nigerians no longer believe in themselves neither do they believe in their country.

 That takes me back to that song “jaga jaga”, how could a sane man dare to call his country jajajaja? It is the height of blasphemy.

Olusegun Obasanjo blasts Eedris Abdulkareem again

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has for the umpteenth time expressed his anger at Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem for his 2004 track titled, ‘Nigeria jaga jaga’. Still embittered over the condescending but popular hit track-Nigeria jaga jaga-about the poor state of Nigeria, Mr Obasanjo, claimed that, producing such a song shows that the artiste does not believe in future of the country.

 The former president made the remark while speaking at a forum organized by Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI) in Lagos on Tuesday, where he also expressed his passion to see the country excel.

 Eedris is a good person and one of the things I cherish about him is his fearlessness and self confidence. He has charisma and knows how to charm and pamper the audience. I learnt that from him. 

 But like every good person he has his short comings. I don't like being in a place where I am tolerated and Eedris does this very well. He never paid me a dime in the three years I worked for him except for an occasion he gave me N1000 after a show in Kuramo beach. Everybody that worked with Eedris when I was with him had a dream but he never helped make their dream happen. 

Today all the boys in my band are car owners and live well on their own. I don't owe them because I know they have families. As they've helped build my career, I also owe them the opportunity to help build theirs too. Eedris never did all of these for his band boys and that was his problem. He never had time for anyone. 

On why he parted ways with Ksolo 

He produced the Timaya beat for Dem Mama song after I sang it to him. At the time I hooked up with K-Solo, he'd just left secondary school. Still Basorge wont let me be, but my actions told him I was in a hurry and couldn't wait for a label that was yet to take off. He wished me well. I gathered money from friends in Port-Harcourt and I came back to Lagos.

I hooked up with K- Solo in his studio in Mafoluku Oshodi and that's how our relationship began. I'd take a bike from my sister's place in Oshodi to his place every time we had sessions and I paid him for everything. I never owed him. ....the guys gave me an upfront payment totalling N300, 000 and I returned to Lagos to pay K-Solo to begin work on my album. I paid him upfront every time we had sessions. 

When we recorded seven songs, he told me he was tired and made some beats and asked me to go. The reason I'm telling you all these is to let you know that I paid K-Solo for every job he did for me. I had issues with him because he was using some of my slogans on songs he produced for others. I warned him against it. Again I had to let him go because my music was beginning to sound monotonous, same beat. 

I realised it wasn't me anymore recording, it was the producer, so I sought to change him. I have since worked with other producers because I didn't want to sound same. The next thing I heard was him telling people I stayed in his house and that I am a small boy. A man younger than me calling me a small boy, was the limit.

SEYI LAW TO EEDRIS: YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE D’BANJ!

Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile better known for his stage name Seyi Law has condemned rapper Eedris Abdulkareem‘s recent outburst towards D’banj at the Occupy Nigeria protest. Seyi Law says campaigning and voting for Goodluck Jonathan ‘is D’banj’s choice and he should not be judged for it.

The comedian while on stage at the Ojota, Lagos centre of the protest yesterday, Wednesday 11, 2012, told the crowd that D’banj had every right to ‘collect money’ to campaign for Goodluck as it was his own business. He also added that it is left to every Nigerian to decide to do so or not if they were to be approached by politicians campaigning.

On the DAY 2 of the protest, Eedris had called out D’banj and other Nigerian artistes who had campaigned for Goodluck Jonathan, challenging the Mo’Hits‘ pop singer to make an appearance at the protest.

Eedris Abdulkareem Beats His Label Mate, SingerJaywon Into Coma

As you read this, gbon gbon gbon crooner, Jaywon was beaten up by his label mate, though senior, Edris Abdulkareem yesterday at satellite town carnival.

Though no one could actually tell what brought about the fight, but a lot of people who knows both parties say Edris has been beefing Jaywon because of his fast success.

He alongside his thugs beat up the young singer (jaywon), and since he couldn’t over power them, he was seriously injured.
