Timaya, a name the Ukwu crooner coined from "Timi getting higher".Timaya was a guest at Toolz show The Juice and he talked about how his music has changed over the years.
He said that he is aware that his music has changed from the Godly note to more superficial and he said that everytime he asks God for forgiveness.
He said his music is influenced by what people want as the new generation are making the music lane hard and also stressed that most hit songs don't last more than two months these days compared to before when hit songs last more than 1 year. This he said was because of the tight market.
He also revealed that he was Eedris Abdulkareem's back up singer for three years and also went into depth and explained about his collaboration with Patoranking.
When asked if part of him felt Patoranking wasn't loyal, he said "yeah", because before he wouldn't do certain things without telling me.
