Former Big Brother contestant and daughter of the dejected ZANU PF minister Tracy Mutinhiri, Vimbai, is due for a program presenter- job in Africa’s largest satellite broadcaster, AfricaMagic Entertainment channel.
The show will pair as presenters the 25-year-old Vimbai Mutinhiri together with South Africa’s Lawrence Maleka, 22.
It is all about giving viewers exclusive star profiles, BTS (behind-the-scenes), features, and continental and international headlines –on the daily, a report stated.
BTS will feature African entertainment news daily and exciting programme segments. Fashionists will see hot-ticket red carpet events, not just the glitz and glamour of the event, but details on who is wearing what and where.
M-Net Africa MD, Biola Alabi, said he hopes the program will appeal to the rest of Africans.

“STAR GIST will be seen by audiences across the continent and Africa Magic is hoping the predominantly locally-produced content will appeal to Africa.
“We’re happy to be able to provide the continent with first class entertainment and up-to-the-minute industry news. The show is well-placed to take the newly rebranded AfricaMagic Entertainment to the next level,” he said.
The 25-year-old, Vimbai, who is also known as “Miss Vee” will co-host the weekday show which will be broadcast across the country.
After taking part in Big Brother’s sixth season, Amplified, in 2011, Vimbai has since hosted several events across the continent as a live MC, modelled in several Fashion Weeks and graced some of Africa’s largest publications.
